WATCH: Virginia-Based Imam: ‘America Will Be A Muslim Nation’

A Virginia-based imam who appears to hold the Trump Administration in contempt told his listeners that America has “great potential” and that he believed that “it will be a Muslim nation.” Imam Sulaiman Jallo gives English-language sermons in several mosques, including Dar Al Noor in Manassas, Virginia.

Imam Sulaiman Jalloh started by ripping the Trump Administration, stating:

What has happened to the rachma in the hearts of mankind when children are detained in the borders of the country that hails itself to be the freest nation, the country that hails itself as the beacon of light on top of a hill for the rest of the world to see as an example? What happened when we as a nation exit the United Nations Human Rights Council? It means our record is so stained we do not even have the integrity and the honor to show our faces there to tell people what is human rights.

He continued, “What’s in the mind of someone so depraved to think that a child is worth imprisonment?”

The imam stated, “Islam is the only solution to solving America’s problems. Islam will be the solution to solve the world’s problems. Do you know why people are not implementing Islam as a solution? Find one Muslim country that has implemented Islam to solve all the problems of the Muslim country. Not one can be an example of how Islam solves all of life’s problems. … America has great potential, I strongly believe. Inshallah, it will be a Muslim nation, and potentially one of the best Muslim nations that you will see in a long time.”

In September 2016, CNN stated that Imam Sulaiman Jalloh told the congregation at the Dar Alnoor mosque in Manassas, Virginia, to vote against Donald Trump, asserting, “Today, some people say, ‘You and I have no right to be here.’ That although this nation was founded on freedom of religion, your religion and mine is not welcome here. My dear respected brothers and sisters: This time, I believe none of us has the option to just sit home.”

CNN commented, “There is little doubt that the Imam is referring to Trump’s rhetoric during this campaign.”
