Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren was forced to apologize on Wednesday after calling Rep. Joe Kennedy a “little limp d***” following the Massachusetts Democrat’s disastrous post-State of the Union speech.
Lahren’s apology came after the Washington Examiner contacted a spokesperson for Fox News and asked for a response from the company about her comments. Lahren responded by saying, “My comments on my personal Instagram about Kennedy’s response were inappropriate and I take full responsibility for that. I got too upset. I sincerely apologize.”
The video, which appeared on her Instagram account, featured an overlay that said, “Cannot wait to shred this little ginger nerd.” The Washington Examiner noted that off-camera she could be heard saying, “Just listen to this little nasty ginger.”

Lahren also appeared to compare Kennedy to Caitlyn Jenner. In one tweet, she posted pictures of Kennedy and Jenner side by side and wrote: “Is it just me or does Joe Kennedy III look a helluva lot like pre-Caitlyn Bruce Jenner.” She deleted the tweet.
