In an article by The Weekly Standard‘s Stephen Hayes, you get the real sense that candidate Hillary is going to finally find out the answer to her Benghazi question: What difference at this point does it make?
Hayes’ review of the yet-to-be-released film, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, directed by Michael Bay and starring a host of great actors, makes clear that the story that’s being told is the true one the Democrats and media tried to hide all for the purposes of re-electing a president who was campaigning on the platform that the terrorists had been defeated.

“The movie is based on the book of the same name, written by Boston University journalism professor Mitchell Zuckoff with five CIA contractors who participated in the many battles in Benghazi that night,” Hayes explains. “The authors announced in the book’s introduction that they had sought to avoid the politics of Benghazi in favor of a fact-based account of what happened during the 13 hours of fighting there. And while the film tracks the book’s narrative closely, Bay’s depiction of the sense of abandonment felt by those men, as they wait for help that never arrives, heightens the outrage.”
And though the film never mentions Hillary or Obama by name, Hayes says it “makes clear their weakness and dishonesty,” adding, “the entire film renders absurd the notion that the attacks were not planned.”
On top of damning our liberal leaders for their complete dereliction of duty, Hayes writes that the “film itself is an implicit but devastating critique of the American media that refused to report this story in this way.”
