MSNBC contributor Yamiche Alcindor claimed on Thursday that if teachers are allowed to carry firearms at school they might end up shooting minority students.
Alcindor’s remarks came in response to a report from The New York Times which claimed that education secretary Betsy DeVos was considering allowing states to use federal funding to purchase firearms for teachers who want to carry at school with the goal of helping prevent school shootings.
