WATCH: Michael Moore’s Wish For 2019: ‘As Many Members Of The Trump Family In Orange Jumpsuits As Possible’

On Friday, leftist documentary filmmaker and activist blowhard Michael Moore appeared on MSNBC with host Chris Hayes, theorizing that one of the things he was most looking forward to in 2019 was seeing “as many members of the Trump family in orange jumpsuits as possible.” Moments later, Hayes agreed that he would also enjoy seeing people associated with Trump in prison.

Hayes started Moore on his harangue by asking, “What are you most looking forward to in 2019?” Moore wheezed, “As many members of the Trump family in orange jumpsuits as possible.” Hayes, smiling, responded, “That seems mean-spirited.” Moore replied, “It’s really the wrong way to end such a festive time of the year, with such animosity toward those who would do wrong to this country, but yes.”

Hayes offered support for Moore: “You’re not alone; I will say that many people, there are many people anticipating actively looking for criminal indictments of people surrounding the president, which is not a crazy thing, given that we know that Don Jr. has told people that he expects an indictment.”

Moore, conspiratorially: “Yes, yes. And Jared. And on and on. Listen, here’s probably what won’t happen, because, especially New Yorkers know this; cause Trump got away with everything, for like, forty years.”

Hayes, joining in: “Yes. He’s been getting away with things for decades.”

Moore: “Yes, that streak shouldn’t end this year, more than likely, because I think Trump has always been careful to be not in the room when the crime is being committed.”

Hayes: “That’s interesting. You think he’s canny enough?”

Moore, “Oh, I do. He’s very canny.”

Hayes: “I’m not disagreeing; I think there’s evidence that he’s quite canny.”

Moore: “Yes. Self-preservation, anything with the word ‘self” in it; any answer that has to do with, ‘me, me, me, me, me,’ yes … everything is processed with that filter. If something’s going to happen in a room, with Russians, or others, that could find him indicted, I think, more than likely, because remember, he doesn’t drink; he doesn’t do drugs; he is of his own faculties; he made sure that he wasn’t in the room.”

Hayes then admitted that he, too, looked forward to seeing people associated with Trump go to prison, stating, “You know, one of the things that I look forward to most, which relates to this, more than maybe seeing people indicted or wearing jumpsuits, is just finding things out.”

In September, speaking to CNN, Moore theorized that Trump was an “evil genius.” He stated:

Too many people in the summer of 2016 were so sure Hillary [Clinton] was going to win, saying no one is going to vote for this idiot. He could win again. I operate as if he is a two-term Trump. I have to. If you think any other way you are guaranteeing that whoever is going to run against him will lose … I think the man is an evil genius and he was able to outsmart the smartest person ever to run for president. He figured out how to win by losing the election. How did that happen? Historians are going to deal with this for years to come.
