On Monday, two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told a crowd in Auckland, New Zealand that she considered moving out of the United States after Donald Trump won the 2016 election.
Speaking at an event hosted by The Growth Factory, Clinton thanked people for their support following her loss in the election.
“I want to thank some of you for sending good wishes a very long way during my campaign and the months that followed,” Clinton said. “I received a number of invitations from Kiwis to permanently relocate here, and I must say that I really did appreciate the offers, gave them some thought.”
“I’m going to stay put because we have work to do in my country as well,” Clinton concluded.
