On Sunday, in a stirring campaign speech, conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder, who is currently the leading GOP candidate to replace California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom if he is successfully recalled, ripped Newsom, saying he “slammed down the hopes and dreams of Californians.”

Speaking at Will Rogers State Beach in Pacific Palisades, Elder stated, “Where do I start about the job this man has done, Gavin Newsom, in the last two years?”
