WATCH: Dolphin Steals Woman’s iPad
Thieves in Florida are taking mugging techniques to the next level by training dolphins to do their work, as evidenced by the latest criminal act caught on camera at SeaWorld in Orlando.
Yes, it’s the controversial SeaWorld again, but this has nothing to do with #BlackFish and everything to do with the black market electronics trade going on in the mysterious dolphin population.
In a clip (below), which is quickly going viral, a woman visiting the park last weekend was admiring the cute gray dolphins when she decided to take a picture of one of them with her iPad. The dolphin, like many of the patrons standing near, wondered, “Who takes pictures with their iPad,” before he seized the moment and bit the pink-covered device right out of her unsuspecting hands.
The woman quickly grabbed for her device, fighting with the bottlenose for ownership. She ultimately prevailed in pulling the now voided-warranty Apple product out of the petting lagoon. The dolphin then turned, clearly upset that he was bested, and sprayed the crowd with a flick of his tail in defiance as he scurried off to regroup while searching for his next mark.
