CNN reporter Randi Kaye “randomly” interviewed a woman at an Obama rally for Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum on Friday, who indicated that the former president has influenced her to vote for Gillum. The woman was Gillum’s mother, Francis Gillum.
Kaye, who has promoted using drugs on CNN, asked Francis Gillum at the Miami rally: “Will Barack Obama’s presence in this race and here today influence your vote?”
“Uh, I believe that it will,” Francis Gillum responded, suggesting that she had not made up her mind prior to Obama campaigning for her son.
“We picked her randomly out of the crowd, but at the end of our interview when I finally asked her name it sounded strangely familiar,” Kaye said.
“My name is Francis Gillum and as a matter of fact my son is running for governor,” Francis Gillum told Kaye.
The Gillum campaign claims that approximately 4,000 people attended the rally.
