Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe released a video of him confronting CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester after Chester made stunning admissions about the left-wing network’s partisan agenda while talking to an undercover journalist.
O’Keefe confronted Chester at a restaurant where Chester had been talking to the undercover journalist. The journalist got up and left the table and Chester was under the impression that she was going to return.
O’Keefe walked up to the table with a camera crew and pressed Chester about the admissions that he made on camera.
Chester responded by using coronavirus guidelines to try to get out of having to answer questions, saying that O’Keefe was too close and was not wearing a mask, even though Chester was also not wearing a mask.
Chester quickly left the restaurant and refused to answer questions before speeding off in a car.

In the first round of videos that Project Veritas released, Chester said that the network is aggressively attacking Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) “to keep hurting him” because he was a “problem” for Democrats and it would be “great” for the Democrat Party “to get him out.”
Chester also admitted that the network worked to remove President Donald Trump from office, they create propaganda, and that they use fear to advance their climate agenda.
TRANSCRIPT:
JAMES O’KEEFE: Charlie, is this seat taken? … I’m James O’Keefe with Project Veritas. You’re a technical director at CNN. You’re on camera talking about the importance of ‘getting Trump out of office’ without saying that’s what your intent is.
[START VIDEO]
CHARLIE CHESTER, CNN DIRECTOR: Like our focus was to get Trump out of office, right? Without saying it, that’s what it was, right?
Look what we did, we got Trump out.
[END VIDEO]
O’KEEFE: That’s – you’re on tape saying this.
CHESTER: Not interested in talking to you.
O’KEEFE: I just want to ask you-
CHESTER: I’ve asked you now, you’re close, you’re within six feet of me without your mask on.
O’KEEFE: I can stand six feet away from you and ask you the same questions. That sounds like a good idea.
CHESTER: You’re not going to get me to talk about anything… So–
O’KEEFE: Well, you also said that it was in your words, ‘propaganda.’
[START VIDEO]
CHESTER: We were, we were creating a story there that we didn’t know anything about, you know? That’s what I think is propaganda.
[END VIDEO]
O’KEEFE: I’m quoting you here.
CHESTER: I’m not talking to you guys.
O’KEEFE: Alright, well you’ve already spoken with us. … You admit your network is helping certain candidates for political officer and you’re admitting that you wanted to hide it. Why hide it Charlie? Why hide it? They never have the courage to say publicly what they will say privately. That’s courage right there. That’s courage. Yeah, drive away. You won’t be able to drive away from the truth. How do you sleep at night?
Charlie had nothing to say, certainly shocked. We had asked him about his comments. He said the quite part out loud.
[START VIDEO]
CHESTER: No one ever says those things out loud.
[END VIDEO]
O’KEEFE: We got him on tape, he drove away.
