WATCH: CNN Commentator Accuses Fox News Of Being A Rapist Company

MSNBC’s Lisa Bloom accused Fox News Channel’s (FNC’s) management of shielding what she said were male sexual predators in powerful company position: “[Fox News Channel] is the Bill Cosby of corporate America. Women over and over again are driven out.”

Speaking with CNN’s Brian Stelter for Reliable Sources, Bloom was described as a “victims rights attorney” in a descriptive chyron. She alleged that FNC’s management displayed a pattern of protecting male “predators:”

“Dozens and dozens of women have come forward and said, ‘I was sexually harassed there.’ How many Gretchen Carlsons, how many Andrea Tantaroses, do we need? All of these women, by the way, driven out, their careers over. Bill O’Reilly’s still sitting pretty. This has been going on since 2002 according to The New York Times article. This is absolutely outrageous. Do women’s’ careers mean anything at Fox News? Do the laws of sexual harassment ever get enforced there? I don’t see any evidence of that.”

Bloom called for an “independent investigation” of sexual harassment at FNC. She also called for FNC to rehire dismissed former female employees such as Gretchen Carlson and Andrea Tantaros (both of whom accused Fox News’ former Chairman Rogers Ailes of sexual harassment).

Fox News must “drive out the predators at [its] network,” said Bloom, describing the news media outlet as possessing “a culture of sexual harassment.”

Bloom wears several hats; she is a legal analyst for both NBC and MSNBC, founder and owner of her eponymous legal firm, and a legal analyst for Avvo. The daughter of Gloria Allred, she describes herself as a “feminist” attorney in her representation of female clients who accuse men, businesses, and organizations of sexual misconduct or prohibited discrimination.

Wendy Walsh, a former “regular guest” on FNC’s The O’Reilly Factor, is now publicly accusing FNC’s Bill O’Reilly of seeking sexual favors in exchange for promoting her to a contributorship role with the network. She has procured Bloom as her legal representation. She claims to have been promised a permanent role with FNC by O’Reilly, only to have have the promise rescinded following her rebuffing of O’Reilly’s sexual advances.

Bloom claims that Walsh is not pursuing money from either O’Reilly or FNC.

On Saturday, Walsh and Bloom sat down with The New York Times for an interview – complete with a series of professional photographs – in order to elevate the status of their legal pursuit across the news media landscape.

The New York Times also reported on the settlement of sexual harassment allegations against FNC and Bill O’Reilly:

An investigation by The New York Times has found a total of five women who have received payouts from either Mr. O’Reilly or the company in exchange for agreeing to not pursue litigation or speak about their accusations against him. The agreements totaled about $13 million.

Describing herself as a “fighter for justice” on her Twitter profile, Bloom’s Twitter banner also features the contemporary “RESIST” slogan popularized by Democrats and the broader left:

Bloom is also an alumnus of CNN and its sister network HLN.
