Emergency crews responded to an explosion at the Chase Bank Building in Youngstown, Ohio, on Tuesday after the incident was caught on camera.
WFMJ said that information is currently limited about what transpired, but the blast appears to have been a gas explosion.
The bank occupies the first floor of the building, which appears to be the main floor that was impacted by the explosion.
“We are in close contact with local officials to check on the safety of everyone in the Realty Building and area,” said Angela Reighard, associate, regional communications at JPMorgan Chase. “After that, we’ll work to determine what happened and to assess the damage.”
Medical officials said that seven people were transported to the hospital with injuries, including one person who is listed in critical condition.
Authorities have not said what they believe is the official cause of the explosion and the State Fire Marshalls have already launched an investigation, the report said.
