Democrat President Joe Biden broke out shouting during a press conference on Thursday where he signed an anti-Asian hate crime bill.
“Every time we’re silent, every time we let hate flourish, you make a lie of who we are as a nation,” Biden shouted. “I mean that literally.”
Biden’s remarks come after his Department of Justice dropped an investigation into anti-Asian discrimination at Yale University. Biden — who it was revealed this week has explosive profanity-laced outbursts at his aides — has also referred to Republicans as “Neanderthal” thinkers, compared Republicans to Nazi leaders, and called a group of Trump supporters “ugly folks.”
“We cannot let the very foundation of this country continue to be eaten away, like it has been, and other moments in our history and happening again,” he continued. “I looked at this law y’all passed, as maybe the first break, a first significant break on a moment in our history, that has to be turned around, not Democrat or Republican, has to be turned around. As a consequence, we should do what is required by the obligations of this democracy, by our faith in God and our faith in each other, to do justice, love, mercy, walk humbly, and as fellow human beings and fellow Americans remember you we’re unique in all history as a nation. This is the United States of America for God’s sake.”

Biden repeatedly made controversial racial remarks while on the campaign trail, which the Trump campaign featured in a digital ad. The ad also featured previous remarks that Biden has made throughout his career.
The clip featured the following remarks:
- “Unlike the African-American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community.”
- “If you have a problem figuring out whether your for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”
- “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
- “My Democratic colleagues don’t like me saying this, I think the two party system is good for the South and good for the Negro, good for the black.”
- “And other than the fact that they still call me ‘boy,’ I don’t think they’ve, I think they’ve changed their mind a little bit.”
- “They’re gonna put y’all back in chains.”
During the press conference, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was seen not wearing mask while in close proximity to other people which came after she appeared to warn against similar behavior earlier in the day.
The Daily Wire reported:
During her own press conference on Thursday, Pelosi seemed to suggest that people should continue to wear masks because otherwise people are relying on “the honor system” when someone claims that they are vaccinated. Pelosi made the remarks when she was asked about when the Capitol would return to normal and whether “so many people” not being vaccinated was playing a part in the decision making.
“We have to wait for them to be vaccinated, because they are selfishly a dangerment [sic] to other people, including staff people here,” Pelosi said. “So while we are hopeful, and I join the president in being hopeful that we can reach a place where it is safe for people to be. What is this, the honor system? The honor system, as to whether somebody’s been vaccinated? Do you want them breathing in your face on the strength of their honor?”
Pelosi later said that she had a responsibility to make sure that the House did not have a coronavirus outbreak because “of the selfishness of some not to be vaccinated or to wear a mask, because it requires us to wear a mask.”
“But it’s not a, shall we say, subjective decision,” Pelosi later added. “The attending physician has said, ‘Until everybody’s vaccinated, we wear masks.’”
