WaPo Reprints AP Claim That Iran Has Never Threatened To Attack Israel. That’s A Whopper Of A Lie.

On Saturday, The Washington Post reprinted an AP story about Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani calling Israel a “cancerous tumor” that Western countries had created as a proxy for their interests. In the article, the author, Nasser Karimi, stated a flagrant lie in order to portray the government of Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, as a peaceful entity while Israel was the saber-rattling menace. Karimi wrote: “Iran has never threatened to attack Israel, but has vowed to retaliate if it is attacked.”

Read that again: “Iran has never threatened to attack Israel.”
