Champion’s Liquor in Ann Arbor, Michigan made the grave mistake of having a small sign in their front window that says “With Israel We Stand.” It seems this was such a grievous and triggering offense that one Social Justice Warrior decided to “bravely” walk in and confront the clerk on behalf of all the citizens of Michigan who she presumes to speak for. The only hiccup in her self-righteous plan was she didn’t expect to be confronting the store owner who is actually Israeli. Whoops.
In the clip below, the upset woman begins by asking, “How much do you value your customers? If I found something offensive that you have posted outside would you take it down in order to keep my business?
The owner tells her, “It depends what it is.”
“You have a sign that says you stand with Israel,” she says, adding, “And to me what that’s saying is that you stand with genocide, with mass killings of children and women, of war crimes. And at a University of Michigan that’s kind of not accepted. If that’s what you want to believe at home, that’s fine but you’re a business man and there’s a lot students here of multiple ethnicities and races and I just feel that it’s really inappropriate. And I don’t want to shop at a place where I feel that I am offended.”
“Well, I’m Jewish,” the owner begins, to which the peeved woman responds, “And that’s fine.”
The owner continues educating the SJW by informing her that this is a free country. “Everybody can do what they want, we have freedom of speech,” he says.
She interrupts the calm owner, telling him, “Your freedom of speech is saying you support hate, war crimes, people stealing,” to which he quickly replies, “It could be the other way.”
“No, no I don’t think so,” she fires back. He then graciously informs her that they’re both entitled to their own opinions. That’s basically like throwing acid in a Liberal’s face and almost always guarantees a complete meltdown.
The woman tells the owner he can have his own opinion at home but not at work as she vows to never to shop there again and tell all her “friends” to do likewise.
The owner tells her he’s been in business since 1986, heard this many times and “could care less.”
“You could care less?” she snarls back, adding, “That’s a really sad mentality but it just shows that you really are Israeli if that’s your mentality.”
BOOM. Who’s the bigot now, lady?
“I love it. I’m so proud of it,” the owner smiles back.
“Yeah, that sucks for you,” she says as she storms out.
Good riddance.
