Video: Security Guard Opens Fire On Unarmed Men For Peeing In Parking Garage

Everoy R. Farqharson, a 31 year-old parking garage security guard in Tampa, Florida, pulled his pistol and shot at two men, one of whom had just urinated before attempting to enter his car and leave.

The incident (above) occurred on July 10, at approximately 2:49 a.m. when the guard blocked Kevin L. Whitcher’s car with his golf-cart, refusing to let him and his two companions, Christopher J. Pino and Megan Zetterburg leave.

Pino, 29, recorded the footage on his cell phone while Whitcher confronted Farqharson, demanding he either remove his cart or he would call the cops. After getting no reaction from Farqharson, Whitcher attempted to move the cart himself enraging the guard, who then pulled his firearm.

“Hey, he has a gun, dude!” yelled Pino, as his friend started to defend himself from Farqharson, who shoved Whitcher and continued making grabs for the pistol.

“You’re on video,” Whitcher, 31, said to Farqharson. “I didn’t touch you, and you’re attacking me.”

That’s when the guard strolled over and knocked the cell phone to the ground.

Seeing an opportunity for their girlfriend, Megan Zetterburg, 28, to escape in the car, Pino can be heard saying, “Meg, go! Meg, go!”

“What the f*** are you doing?!” Whitcher screamed, before Farqharson fired four rounds at the two men, luckily missing them both.

Farqharson then picked up the phone he’d knocked down and the two shell casings and put them in his pocket. He then reached into the car which Zetterburg was about to drive out of the garage and took the keys from the ignition.

The security guard was arrested on charges of “aggravated assault with a firearm, battery, tampering with evidence and burglary,” reports the Tampa Bay Times.

On Monday a judge set Farqharson’s bail at $56,750.

City officials are now reviewing their contract with Iron Eagle Security Inc., the company that the trigger-happy guard works for.

Ocea Lattimore, the city’s director of logistics and asset management, told the TBTimes, “We’re looking at their contractual services and will be making a determination in terms of whether they are the right fit for what we need in the city of Tampa.”
