<p>Actor Ashton Kutcher revealed that he previously suffered from a rare autoimmune disorder that left him unable to see, hear or walk.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ashton-kutcher">44-year-old</a> actor opened up about his recent health challenges in an upcoming episode of National Geographic&#8217;s &#8220;Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge,&#8221; according to &#8220;<a href="https://www.accessonline.com/articles/ashton-kutcher-reveals-autoimmune-disorder-left-him-unable-to-see-hear-or-walk-lucky-to-be-alive-exclusive">Access Hollywood</a>.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Like two years ago, I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis, that like, knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out, like, all my equilibrium,&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/we-are-overwhelmed-mila-kunis-and-ashton-kutcher-raise-more-than-30-million-for-ukraine">Kutcher</a> explained. &#8220;It took me like a year to build it all back up.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t really appreciate it, until it&#8217;s gone,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Until you go, &#8216;I don&#8217;t know if I&#8217;m ever going to be able to see again, I don&#8217;t know if I&#8217;m ever going to be able to hear again, I don&#8217;t know if I’m ever going to be able to walk again.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Lucky to be alive,&#8221; Kutcher continued.</p>
<p>&#8220;The minute you start seeing your obstacles as things that are made for you, to give you what you need, then life starts to get fun, right?&#8221; he added. &#8220;You start surfing on top of your problems instead of living underneath them.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;What do they say in survival?&#8221; host Bear Grylls replied. &#8220;Storms make you stronger. And I think he&#8217;s living proof of that.&#8221;</p>
<p>Vasculitis is described as a disorder that &#8220;involves inflammation of the blood vessels&#8230;which reduces the width of the passageway through the vessel&#8221; and &#8220;can result in organ and tissue damage,&#8221; according to the <a href="https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/vasculitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20363435">Mayo Clinic</a>.</p>
<p>Kutcher is married to his former co-star from &#8220;That &#8217;70s Show,&#8221; Mila Kunis, and the two share two children.</p>
<p>The full episode featuring &#8220;The Ranch&#8221; star airs Monday on National Geographic at 9 p.m. ET.</p>
