<p>Married &#8220;That &#8217;70s Show&#8221; stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis took some heat over the weekend for writing &#8220;character letters&#8221; on behalf of their co-star, now a convicted rapist, Danny Masterson.</p>
<p>Masterson <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/that-70s-show-actor-danny-masterson-sentenced-to-30-years-to-life-on-two-counts-of-rape" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was convicted</a> in late May on two counts of rape and was sentenced on Thursday to serve 30 years to life in prison — but prior to sentencing, his legal defense team and family reportedly reached out to friends and colleagues to speak on behalf of Masterson in an effort to reduce his potential sentence.</p>
<p>Kutcher and Kunis each <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/mila-kunis-ashton-kutchers-letters-danny-masterson-full-1825816" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote a letter</a> expressing their gratitude for Masterson&#8217;s friendship, referencing their time together on the set of &#8220;That &#8217;70s Show.&#8221; Both credited Masterson&#8217;s &#8220;positive peer pressure&#8221; for the fact that they did not get sucked into the Hollywood party lifestyle, saying that he had always been adamant that his friends refrain from abusing drugs.</p>
<p>Kutcher even suggested that Masterson was &#8220;among the few people&#8221; he would trust to be alone with his own children — and Kunis referred to him as an &#8220;exceptional older brother figure.&#8221;</p>
<p>The backlash was almost immediate.</p>

<p>Kutcher was touring with Witherspoon ahead of the release of their new Netflix project, &#8220;Your Place or Mine,&#8221; and he explained during an appearance on the &#8220;Chicks in the Office&#8221; podcast that things got so bad that even his wife — and former &#8220;That 70&#8217;s Show&#8221; co-star — <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/i-am-wearing-childrens-underwear-for-you-mila-kunis-scolds-jimmy-kimmels-audience-for-booing-her/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mila Kunis</a> had texted him and Witherspoon to tell them to get it together.</p>

<p>&#8220;Ok, hold on. Hold on,&#8221; he said. &#8220;My wife called me — she texted Reese and I together and she&#8217;s like, &#8216;Guys. You gotta, like, you gotta, like, act like you like each other. And I was like, &#8216;What is going on?'&#8221;</p>
<p>The hosts laughed as Kutcher continued, &#8220;Okay, all right, here’s the thing: If I put my arm around her and was, like, all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her. The rumor would be that I&#8217;m having an affair with her.&#8221;</p>
<p>What Kutcher soon learned, however, was that the rumor mill was going to mill rumors no matter what he and Witherspoon did: &#8220;If I stand next to her and I put my hands in my pockets, so there’s no chance that, like, that could be the rumor, the rumor is we don’t like each other.&#8221;</p>
<p>The hosts laughed again, agreeing that if they stood too far apart, the rumor would be that the two of them &#8220;hated each other.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Reese and I are really good friends,&#8221; Kutcher said then, adding, &#8220;We&#8217;re really close, I don&#8217;t have to defend that.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kutcher then defended all actors and the occasional &#8220;awkward&#8221; red carpet photo, saying that in all the chaos — with photographers calling their names from multiple directions at once — it would be impossible for every photo to be perfect.</p>
<p>&#8220;If you&#8217;re going to tell me, in that entire 20-minute period, at one point you&#8217;re not going to have an awkward face on? Then you&#8217;re better than I am, and I&#8217;m cool with that,&#8221; he said.</p>

<p>Actor Ashton Kutcher just recently revealed that he gave up marijuana years ago – and he explained the reason why.</p>
<p>Kutcher spoke to Esquire for an <a href="https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/movies/a42698761/ashton-kutcher-your-place-or-mine-interview-2023/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> that was published on Tuesday, and he said that a bad experience with an edible — while at a friend&#8217;s wedding in Italy — had turned him off the drug forever.</p>
<p>The &#8220;Dude, Where&#8217;s My Car?&#8221; actor explained that while he had indulged some in his younger years — primarily alcohol and marijuana — he quickly added, &#8220;I haven’t done a drug in ten years.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;That s*** did not go well,&#8221; he said of the experience in Italy. He explained that at the time he had only recently had a vasectomy, and once the high from the edible took hold, he was convinced that he had lost all feeling below his waist.</p>
<p>His wife, &#8220;That 70&#8217;s Show&#8221; costar <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/i-am-wearing-childrens-underwear-for-you-mila-kunis-scolds-jimmy-kimmels-audience-for-booing-her/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mila Kunis</a>, tried to convince him otherwise but to no avail. Later, in their hotel room — which Kunis had to help him find because he had forgotten where it was — he became convinced that they were going broke. At that point he complained to Kunis, &#8220;We can’t even afford to be here right now!&#8221;</p>
<p class="css-18vfmjb et3p2gv0" data-node-id="100">&#8220;The next day, I realized I had moved the decimal point,&#8221; Kutcher said, explaining that his financial panic had been the unfortunate result of attempting arithmetic while still high.</p>

<p class="css-18vfmjb et3p2gv0" data-node-id="100">Kutcher also revealed in the same interview that despite many attempts to keep his personal life as private as possible, he and his family were thrust into the spotlight in 2019 when ex-wife Demi Moore <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/ashton-kutcher-said-he-was-fing-pissed-when-demi-moores-memoir-came-out/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published her memoir</a>.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 44-year-old </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment"><span style="font-weight: 400;">star</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> described his feelings during a recent interview with <a href="https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/movies/a42698761/ashton-kutcher-your-place-or-mine-interview-2023/">Esquire</a>. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I was f***ing pissed,” he said of “Inside Out” hitting bookshelves. “I’d finally gotten to a place where the press had really laid off me and Mila [Kunis], and my life and my family,” Kutcher continued. “And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my kids’ school.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He went on to say he didn’t blame Moore and didn’t want people to think he does. “I don’t want to open anything up in that realm,” he said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The “No Strings Attached” star was married to Moore from 2005 until 2013. In her book, Moore delved into the relationship, sharing intimate details about participating in threesomes and blaming her ex for inspiring her to relapse after Kutcher allegedly said alcoholism wasn’t “a real thing.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The actor told the publication he felt like a “wholesale f***ng failure” after his marriage ended. “Nothing makes you feel like a failure like divorce,” Kutcher said. “You failed at marriage.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Later, he discussed his relationship with Kunis, who he’s been married to since 2015.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The thing about Mila that made our relationship accelerate was that I had always admired her. Her talent, her skills, her gifts,” Kutcher explained. “I knew that she didn’t need me. And she knew that I didn’t need her.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“We already knew all of each other’s dirt,” he admitted, saying his wife is “so much cooler” than he is.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kutcher also discussed his daily routine, which involves cooking breakfast for his kids, driving them to school, and taking them to after-school activities. He’s also an avid investor and venture capitalist who works from home on those endeavors.</span></p>

<p>Actor Ashton Kutcher revealed that he previously suffered from a rare autoimmune disorder that left him unable to see, hear or walk.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ashton-kutcher">44-year-old</a> actor opened up about his recent health challenges in an upcoming episode of National Geographic&#8217;s &#8220;Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge,&#8221; according to &#8220;<a href="https://www.accessonline.com/articles/ashton-kutcher-reveals-autoimmune-disorder-left-him-unable-to-see-hear-or-walk-lucky-to-be-alive-exclusive">Access Hollywood</a>.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Like two years ago, I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis, that like, knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out, like, all my equilibrium,&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/we-are-overwhelmed-mila-kunis-and-ashton-kutcher-raise-more-than-30-million-for-ukraine">Kutcher</a> explained. &#8220;It took me like a year to build it all back up.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t really appreciate it, until it&#8217;s gone,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Until you go, &#8216;I don&#8217;t know if I&#8217;m ever going to be able to see again, I don&#8217;t know if I&#8217;m ever going to be able to hear again, I don&#8217;t know if I’m ever going to be able to walk again.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Lucky to be alive,&#8221; Kutcher continued.</p>
<p>&#8220;The minute you start seeing your obstacles as things that are made for you, to give you what you need, then life starts to get fun, right?&#8221; he added. &#8220;You start surfing on top of your problems instead of living underneath them.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;What do they say in survival?&#8221; host Bear Grylls replied. &#8220;Storms make you stronger. And I think he&#8217;s living proof of that.&#8221;</p>
<p>Vasculitis is described as a disorder that &#8220;involves inflammation of the blood vessels&#8230;which reduces the width of the passageway through the vessel&#8221; and &#8220;can result in organ and tissue damage,&#8221; according to the <a href="https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/vasculitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20363435">Mayo Clinic</a>.</p>
<p>Kutcher is married to his former co-star from &#8220;That &#8217;70s Show,&#8221; Mila Kunis, and the two share two children.</p>

The 38-year-old actress emigrated to the United States when she was a young child, but never forgot where she came from and has a deep love for her native land. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kunis and Kutcher are happy with how many of their followers donated, helping them reach the massive $30 million goal in just a few weeks. Kutcher shared a video update via his <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CbNncvNFCMX/">Instagram</a> page saying as much. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support. 2 weeks ago we asked you to join us and more than 65,000 of you stepped up and donated what you could. Now, with your help we have reached our $30 million goal.,” he wrote in the caption. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">“While this is far from a solution for the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forge ahead into their future of uncertainty. Our work is not done. We will do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came as a part of this campaign finds maximum impact with those in need.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The actor went on to discuss how the money had already been distributed to partners Flexport.org and Airbnb.org so they can use the aid immediately. These organizations are targeting help to refugees, which are </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/10-million-civilians-have-fled-war-in-ukraine-top-un-official-says"><span style="font-weight: 400;">estimated to be 10 million</span></a>,<span style="font-weight: 400;"> according to a recent report.</span></p>

<p>Earlier this month, the Ukrainian-born actress and her superstar husband pledged to match $3 million in donations to provide aid to refugees amid the war being raged by Russia against Kunis&#8217; homeland.</p>
<p>&#8220;I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983,&#8221; Kunis explained in a <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/f/stand-with-ukraine">video</a> about their fundraising campaign. &#8220;I came to America in 1991. I have always considered myself American, a proud American, I love everything that this country has done for myself and my family. But today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian.&#8221;</p>

Unlike other Hollywood celebs, the A-list couple pledged to match up to $3 million in donations to provide support to refugees needing help as they flee the country. With Kunis hailing from Ukraine, the cause is more important than ever to her. The star immigrated to the United States as a child in 1991.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The “That 70s Show” alums recently shared an update on the status of those donations, and it turns out they’ve collected a huge sum of money in a short amount of time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“UPDATE!! 15 million. We are halfway to our goal. Now that nationality is taking on new meaning as the country defends itself in a brutal war with Russia. First, her fellow “That &#8217;70s Show” castmate and husband, Ashton Kutcher, shared his support for Ukraine on social media. Now the couple is pledging to donate up to $3 million to the cause.</span></p>

In it, Kunis said she was &#8220;proud&#8221; of her Ukrainian heritage and wanted to provide aid for refugees. Some estimates show that up to 1 million people are expected to flee the country as the Russian assault continues. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983. I came to America in 1991. I have always considered myself American, a proud American, I love everything that this country has done for myself and my family. But today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian,&#8221; Kunis explained.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“And I&#8217;ve never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian,&#8221; Kutcher chimed in.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;The events that have unfolded in Ukraine are devastating. There is no place in this world for this kind of unjust attack on humanity,&#8221; Kunis went on.</span></p>

We&#8217;re raising funds to support a relief effort that will have immediate impact and supply much needed refugee and humanitarian aid in the area. The principal challenge right now is logistics. We need to get housing, and we need to get supplies and resources into the area,&#8221; Kutcher said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The couple is planning to match a combined $3 million to both organizations, they said, before urging followers to help in the effort to raise money.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“If I’m China and I want to create a problem in that area of the world, specifically a naval problem in that area of the world, in the South China Sea, I would probably want to utilize TikTok in order to influence the minds of Americans in an anti-U.S. propaganda, anti-Taiwanese propaganda effort in order to make any kind of war from the United States extraordinarily unpopular,” Kutcher said while speaking on the “American Optimist” YouTube channel run by Joe Lonsdale.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“My sense as a fervent American is that it’s getting extraordinarily dangerous for not just individuals but for the country at large,” Kutcher added.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“We may collect information about the images and audio that are a part of your User Content, such as identifying the objects and scenery that appear, the existence and location within an image of face and body features and attributes, the nature of the audio, and the text of the words spoken in your User Content,” TikTok announced in the “Image and Audio Information” section of their new privacy policy. “We may collect this information to enable special video effects, for content moderation, for demographic classification, for content and ad recommendations, and for other non-personally-identifying operations. We may collect biometric identifiers and biometric information as defined under US laws, such as faceprints and voiceprints, from your User Content. Where required by law, we will seek any required permissions from you prior to any such collection.”</span></p>
