<p>President Donald Trump slammed a pro-Hamas protester who is in the United States on a visa when asked about the matter on Tuesday afternoon, saying that people like him should be thrown out of the country.</p>
<p>Khalil helped lead demonstrations at Columbia University that championed the terrorist group Hamas.</p>
<p>The Department of Homeland Security wrote on Sunday night that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Khalil after he “led activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization.”</p>
<p>Trump was asked about the matter during an event with Elon Musk after the president said in a social media post earlier in the day that this was &#8220;the first arrest of many to come.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I think we ought to get them all out of the country,&#8221; Trump told reporters when asked about Khalil. &#8220;They&#8217;re troublemakers. They&#8217;re agitators. They don&#8217;t love our country. We ought to get them the hell out.&#8221;</p>
<p>He said that he listened to Khalil&#8217;s statements and thought that they were &#8220;plenty bad.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And I think we ought to get him the hell out of the country. I watched him. I watched tapes, specifically. I watched tapes,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;And you can have him, okay? You can have him and you can have the rest of them.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Columbia used to be a good school,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Now, it&#8217;s been overrun because of bad leadership. That&#8217;s what happens. Happens to countries, and it happens to universities, and it happens to companies.&#8221;</p>
<p>Secretary of State <a href="https://x.com/marcorubio/status/1898858967532441945?s=46&amp;t=5nB3R1hthzMlYMrXjZyN8Q" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marco Rubio</a> announced the administration’s plan to strip visas or green cards from anyone participating in activities aligned with Hamas, a designated terror organization. “We will be revoking the visas and/or green cards of Hamas supporters in America so they can be deported,” he said.</p>
<p>An anti-Israel group that claims to represent “thousands of Columbia students” publicly acknowledged a deeper truth: they are fighting to “eradicate” Western civilization.</p>
<p>Khalil is a member of the Columbia University Apartheid Divest coalition — which stated in its <a href="https://cuapartheiddivest.org/demands" target="_blank" rel="noopener">list of demands</a> that Columbia University should “[s]ever academic ties with Israel universities” and “Defund Public Safety and disclose and sever all ties with the NYPD” — and joined with the university’s Bengali Student Association to post a statement on Instagram, as Campus Reform <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/article/columbia-university-anti-israel-group-says-fighting-total-eradication-western-civilization/26077" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.</p>
