<p>Former President Donald J. Trump is projected to win the key swing state of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/nevada" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nevada</a>, securing the state&#8217;s 6 Electoral College votes, according to a projection from Decision Desk HQ.</p>
<p>With an estimated 90% of the vote reported, Trump led Vice President Kamala Harris 51.5% to 46.8%. Trump has now secured 286 votes in the Electoral College, surpassing the 270 threshold to be declared the winner.</p>
<p>There are no automatic recounts in the state. Any candidate can request a recount, but they are liable for the cost if they are not successful.</p>

<p>Polls leading up to the election had shown a tight race between the two candidates with former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Harris in the RealClearPolitics average by 0.6 points headed into Election Day.</p>

<p>Nevada has seen a dramatic surge in the amount of spending on campaign ads during the 2024 election cycle for all political races in the state when compared to 2020.</p>
<p>In 2020, for all races in the state, the two parties spent $90 million. Now, the two parties have spent $354 million in the state, with Democrats spending $203 million and Republicans spending $111 million.</p>
<p>For the presidential race during the 2024 election cycle, Democrats outspent Republicans $82 million to $36 million.</p>
