Trump Keeps Lovin’ On Kanye: ‘Eyes Are Being Opened… Legacy Stuff!’

Suddenly, President Trump can’t get him enough Kanye.

While it’s unlikely the 71-year-old president has ever really listened to one of the rapper/hip hop artist’s songs, Trump has become a huge fan in the last few days as Kanye West has gone on a Twitter rampage praising the “Make America Great Again” icon.

And Trump’s returning the love — not just to West but to other rappers as well.

“Kanye West has performed a great service to the Black Community – Big things are happening and eyes are being opened for the first time in Decades – Legacy Stuff! Thank you also to Chance and Dr. Darrell Scott, they really get it (lowest Black & Hispanic unemployment in history),” Trump said Friday in a tweet.

If you haven’t been keeping up on your hiphop Twitter feed this week, Chance The Rapper on Wednesday said “black people don’t have to be democrats.”

And Dr. Darrell Scott, a pastor and member of Trump’s transition team, went on Fox News and praised West for supporting Trump.

West has been on a Twitter tear all week, angering his fellow famous friends with numerous tweets supporting Trump. In one, West is seen with a “Make America Great Again” hat.

In another, West criticized former President Obama for “doing nothing” to help Chicago — while lauding Trump for his efforts to help blacks. And in another, West said he and Trump share “dragon energy.”

“You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him,” he tweeted Wednesday. “We are both dragon energy. He is my brother.”

Trump talked about his relationship with West when he appeared on “Fox & Friends” on Thursday.

“I have known Kanye a little bit and I get along with Kanye … but Kanye looks and he sees black unemployment at the lowest it’s been in the history of our country, he sees Hispanic unemployment at the lowest it’s been in the history of our country. He sees female unemployment at the lowest it’s been in 19 years,” he said.

“He sees that stuff and he’s smart, and he goes ‘You know what, Trump is doing a much better job than the Democrats did,'” he said.

West, meanwhile, has turned poetic in his tweets, posting on Thursday:

And as if on cue, West tweeted this out Friday morning:
