<p>President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Hamas terrorists would lay down their weapons, or the United States would &#8220;disarm them.&#8221;</p>
<p>Speaking to reporters during a roundtable with Argentinian President Javier Milei at the White House, Trump said that Hamas has already promised to disarm, which was a major demand in the president&#8217;s 20-point peace plan.</p>
<p>&#8220;They&#8217;re going to disarm because they said they were going to disarm,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;And if they don&#8217;t disarm, we will disarm them.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;How will you do that?&#8221; a reporter asked.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t have to explain that to you, but if they don&#8217;t disarm, we will disarm them,&#8221; Trump reiterated. &#8220;They know I&#8217;m not playing games.&#8221;</p>

<p>Trump successfully pressured Hamas to agree to a ceasefire and hostage deal with Israel, the first phase of his broader plan for peace in the region. The first phase of the deal did not require Hamas to lay down its weapons, but the president is confident it will happen in the future.</p>

<p>Vice President JD Vance <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jd-vance-there-will-be-no-u-s-boots-on-the-ground-in-israel-gaza">said</a> earlier this week that U.S. troops in the region would monitor the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, but added that there would be no American “boots on the ground” in Gaza or Israel.</p>
<p>Trump said during his speech at the Knesset on Monday that the deal will start “the golden age of Israel and the golden age of the Middle East.” Hamas handed over the 20 remaining living hostages to Israel on Monday, and in exchange, Israel released nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, including hundreds of terrorists. Under the ceasefire agreement, Israeli troops also withdrew from many areas in the Gaza Strip, moving back to an agreed-upon line near the Israeli border.</p>
<p>After the terms of the agreement took effect, Hamas terrorists moved to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/terror-reigns-hamas-publicly-executes-gazans-after-israeli-troop-pullback?author=Zach+Jewell&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=2&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=TERROR+REIGNS%3A+Hamas+Publicly+Executes+Gazans+After+Israeli+Troop+Pullback">reassert control</a> over the Gaza Strip. On Monday, Hamas publicly executed at least seven men whom the terror group accused of conspiring with Israel. Hamas has also been fighting rival groups in Gaza this week, with dozens of people being killed in skirmishes.</p>

<p>The U.S. Central Command on Wednesday “strongly” urged Hamas to end its violence in Gaza after President Donald Trump vowed that the terror group would be disarmed.</p>
<p>Admiral Brad Cooper, the CENTCOM commander, issued a <a href="https://x.com/centcom/status/1978456188976042321?s=46&amp;t=o-U3qwC25WnWaylJ0oeG7Q">statement</a> calling on Hamas to take advantage of “an historic opportunity for peace … by fully standing down, strictly adhering to Trump’s 20-point peace plan, and disarming without delay.” This week, Hamas terrorists have ramped up their efforts to reassert control in the Gaza Strip after Israeli forces pulled out of most areas in Gaza in accordance with the ceasefire and hostage agreement.</p>
<p>At least seven men, whom Hamas accused of conspiring with Israel, were publicly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/terror-reigns-hamas-publicly-executes-gazans-after-israeli-troop-pullback">executed</a> in Gaza on Monday. Hamas has also been fighting with rival groups in Gaza in recent days.</p>
<p>“We strongly urge Hamas to immediately suspend violence and shooting at innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza — in both Hamas-held parts of Gaza and those secured by the IDF behind the Yellow Line,” Admiral Cooper said.</p>

<p>“We have conveyed our concerns to the mediators who agreed to work with us to enforce the peace and protect innocent Gaza civilians,” Cooper added. “We remain highly optimistic for the future of peace in the region.”</p>
<p>President Trump said on Tuesday that Hamas has already promised to disarm, a major demand in his 20-point peace plan.</p>
<p>“They’re going to disarm because they said they were going to disarm,” Trump said. “And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them.”</p>
<p>“They know I’m not playing games,” the president added.</p>
<p>Media reports published last week claimed that the United States was deploying 200 troops to Israel to watch over the ceasefire, but White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt <a href="https://x.com/PressSec/status/1976423398164332631?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1976423398164332631%7Ctwgr%5E996a5875757fb3dbf5844d44607057c57034a84e%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.livenowfox.com%2Fnews%2Fus-sending-200-troops-israel-gaza-ceasefire-deal">said</a> those reports were “NOT true and taken out of context.” Leavitt added, “To be clear: up to 200 U.S. personnel, who are already stationed at CENTCOM, will be tasked with monitoring the peace agreement in Israel, and they will work with other international forces on the ground.” CENTCOM’s area of responsibility spans across 21 nations in the Middle East.</p>

<p>Vice President JD Vance <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/jd-vance-there-will-be-no-u-s-boots-on-the-ground-in-israel-gaza">said</a> earlier this week that the administration had no plans to put American troops on the ground in Gaza or Israel.</p>
<p>“We’re not planning to put boots on the ground. What we already have is a U.S. Central Command, we already have people in that region of the world,” Vance told NBC News on Sunday. “They’re going to monitor the terms of the ceasefire. They’re going to monitor, ensure the humanitarian aid is flowing.”</p>
<p>The first phase of Trump’s peace plan, which went into effect on Monday, did not include Hamas laying down its weapons, nor have the terrorists agreed to give up control of the Gaza Strip, another major point of the president’s plan. Trump, however, remains optimistic that the terror group will agree to those stipulations in the future.</p>
<p>Israel has already accused Hamas of failing to follow through on its promise to hand over all of the remaining hostages. While the 20 remaining living hostages were handed over earlier this week, Israel is still waiting to receive the remains of dozens of hostages who died in Hamas captivity.</p>
<p>The Israel Defense Forces <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/idf-hamas-undermines-ceasefire-deal-after-handing-over-wrong-body?topStoryPosition=undefined&amp;author=Leif+Le+Mahieu&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=1&amp;row=1&amp;rowHeadline=Top+Stories&amp;rowType=Top+Stories&amp;title=IDF%3A+Hamas+Undermines+Ceasefire+Deal+After+Handing+Over+Wrong+Body">said</a> on Wednesday that one of the four bodies it has received so far “does not match any of the hostages.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office called on Hamas to uphold its end of the agreement and return all 28 deceased hostages. Netanyahu’s office said that Israel “will not compromise on this and will spare no effort until we return all of the fallen hostages, every last one of them.”</p>

U.S. Military Warns Hamas To End Gaza Violence After Trump Vows To ‘Disarm’ Terrorist Group

<p>Stellantis, one of the “Big Three” American automakers, announced on Tuesday that it is changing course on plans to manufacture a Jeep model in Ontario, Canada, as the company focuses on expanding production in the United States.</p>
<p>Stellantis previously planned to produce its Jeep Compass at the Brampton Assembly Plant in Ontario, but its new focus on U.S. investment will move production to the United States, as the company plans to reopen a plant in Belvidere, Illinois, CBC <a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/stellantis-jeep-compass-canada-9.6938834">reported</a>. The Michigan-based company aims to “invest $13 billion over the next four years to grow its business in the critical United States market and to increase its domestic manufacturing footprint.”</p>
<p>“The investment is the largest in the company’s 100-year U.S. history and will support the introduction of five new vehicles across the brand portfolio in key segments; production of the all-new four-cylinder engine; and the addition of more than 5,000 jobs at plants in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana,” Stellantis <a href="https://www.stellantis.com/en/news/press-releases/2025/october/stellantis-to-invest-13-billion-to-grow-in-the-united-states">said</a>.</p>
<p>The move comes as President Donald Trump’s tariffs continue to punish American automakers that manufacture vehicles and parts abroad to sell in the American market. Canadian leaders voiced their frustration with Stellantis’ decision, with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney <a href="https://x.com/MarkJCarney/status/1978278995637551208">saying</a> the move is a “direct consequence of current U.S. tariffs and potential future U.S. trade actions.”</p>
<p>Trump met with Carney at the White House last week, and the two leaders discussed trade and tariff policies. After his visit, Carney’s office touted his nation’s trade relationship with the United States, <a href="https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releases/2025/10/08/prime-minister-carney-concludes-visit-washington-dc">saying</a>, “Canada currently has the best trade agreement of any U.S. trading partner, with 85% of Canada-U.S. trade now tariff-free, and our cooperation is further improving border security.”</p>
<p>The Brampton, Ontario, plant has been shut down since 2024 to focus on repurposing the factory to manufacture the next-generation electrified Jeep Compass. After Trump imposed his auto tariffs, the company paused its retooling effort at the Brampton plant.</p>
<p>Unifor, the trade union that represents many Canadian auto workers, argued that auto jobs in Canada “are being sacrificed on the Trump altar.”</p>
<p>“Stellantis cannot be allowed to renege on its commitments to Canadian workers, and governments cannot stand by while our jobs are shifted to the United States,” said Unifor National President Lana Payne.</p>

<p>Ontario Premier Doug Ford, who has strongly criticized President Trump over the tariffs, said in a Wednesday morning X <a href="https://x.com/fordnation/status/1978416009871605906">post</a> that he talked to Stellantis “to stress my disappointment with their decision to prioritize investment into the U.S.” He added, “This decision is especially painful for those workers who have been out of jobs for months.”</p>
<p>Earlier this year, as part of Trump’s wide-ranging trade policy, the Trump administration <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/2025/03/fact-sheet-president-donald-j-trump-adjusts-imports-of-automobiles-and-automobile-parts-into-the-united-states/">imposed</a> a 25% tariff “on imports of automobiles and certain automobile parts,” arguing that the move was necessary to address “a critical threat to U.S. national security.” Multiple American and foreign automakers responded to the tariff policy by announcing plans to increase production in the United States.</p>
<p>In May, General Motors <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/general-motors-to-cut-back-on-manufacturing-at-canada-plant-over-trump-tariff">said</a> it would cut back production at a truck plant in Oshawa, Ontario, due to Trump’s tariffs taking effect. GM said a month earlier that it planned to ramp up production of light-duty trucks at its assembly plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana.</p>

Auto Giant Ends Canadian Jeep Production, Brings Jobs Back To America

<p>Michigan Republican state senators introduced a resolution Tuesday to honor the late Charlie Kirk on his birthday, but Democrats who control the chamber chose to ignore it.</p>
<p>The resolution, introduced by Michigan Senate minority leader Aric Nesbitt, along with a dozen of his fellow GOP state senators, offered a tribute to Kirk and condemned &#8220;all forms of political violence.&#8221; Democrats, however, referred the resolution to the Senate Committee on Government Operations, a move often used to table issues for an unspecified amount of time, Nesbitt told The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>Kirk, who was assassinated last month while speaking to students at Utah Valley University, would have turned 32 on Tuesday.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s unfortunate that Senate Democrats could not even be bothered to take a moment to acknowledge the tragedy that took place in Utah last month and condemn political violence as our nation pauses to remember Charlie Kirk,&#8221; said Nesbitt, who&#8217;s also running for Michigan governor in 2026. &#8220;It is sad how Democrats can turn anything, even common human decency, into political division.&#8221;</p>
<p>In a social media post, Nesbitt went a step further in his criticism of the Democrats in his state legislature, <a href="https://x.com/aricnesbitt/status/1978135627603304856">writing</a>, &#8220;Instead of rejecting political violence and domestic terrorism, Senate Democrats are embracing it.&#8221;</p>
<p>Michigan Democratic Sen. Jeremy Moss, the President Pro Tempore of the state Senate, did not respond to a request to comment.</p>
<p>Michigan <a href="https://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2025-2026/resolutionintroduced/Senate/pdf/2025-SIR-0077.pdf">Senate Resolution 77</a> recognized Kirk as &#8220;a devoted Christian,&#8221; &#8220;dedicated husband,&#8221; &#8220;loving father,&#8221; and &#8220;fierce defender of the American founding and its timeless principles of life, liberty, limited government, and individual responsibility.&#8221;</p>
<p>The resolution added, &#8220;Resolved by the Senate, That the members of this legislative body offer this expression of our highest tribute to honor the memory of Charles &#8216;Charlie&#8217; James Kirk; and be it further Resolved, That we condemn in the strongest possible terms the assassination of Charles &#8216;Charlie&#8217; James Kirk, and all forms of political violence.&#8221;</p>

<p>The Michigan state House, which is controlled by Republicans, passed a <a href="https://legiscan.com/MI/text/HR0174/2025">resolution</a> honoring Kirk on September 17, just one week after he was assassinated. The U.S. House and Senate also passed resolutions honoring Kirk. Two Michigan Democrats, Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Shri Thanedar, <a href="https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/2025/09/19/thanedar-tlaib-vote-house-resolution-honoring-charlie-kirk/86247046007/?gnt-cfr=1&amp;gca-cat=p&amp;gca-uir=true&amp;gca-epti=z116628p117250c117250e003800v116628b0063xxd006365&amp;gca-ft=126&amp;gca-ds=sophi">joined</a> 56 other U.S. House Democrats in voting against the resolution on September 19. The U.S. Senate&#8217;s resolution designated October 14 as &#8220;National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk.&#8221;</p>
<p>While state Senate Democrats in Michigan blocked an effort to pay tribute to Kirk, the influential conservative commentator will be honored by President Donald Trump, who is set to posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday.</p>
<p>&#8220;At least we know President Trump is doing the right thing and acknowledging this great man&#8217;s contribution to our country and our freedoms,&#8221; Nesbitt added in a phone call with The Daily Wire. &#8220;God bless Charlie, God bless our First Amendment, and God bless this great country.&#8221;</p>

Michigan Dems Ignore Resolution Honoring Charlie Kirk On His Birthday

<p>A man who expressed anti-Israel views and called Pennsylvania Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro a “monster” pleaded guilty to all charges on Tuesday morning after firebombing the Governor’s Residence in April.</p>
<p>Cody Balmer, 38, pleaded guilty to charges of attempted homicide and terrorism, along with dozens of arson-related charges, The Philadelphia Inquirer <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/crime/cody-balmer-arson-guilty-plea-josh-shapiro-mansion-fire-20251014.html">reported</a>. Balmer was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison.</p>
<p>Balmer scaled the property fence and broke into the Pennsylvania Governor’s Residence at around 2:00 a.m. on April 13, shortly after Shapiro — who is Jewish — finished celebrating Passover with his family. The arsonist lit multiple homemade incendiary devices and threw them on the floor inside the home as Shapiro and his family slept, security footage shows. Balmer then fled the property.</p>

<p>After the blaze erupted, the governor and his family were awakened by state troopers and escaped unharmed. The fire damaged much of the home, costing more than $7 million to repair, the Inquirer reported.</p>
<p>Hours after he set the fire, Balmer called police and admitted to the attack, saying that he would not “take part in [Shapiro’s] plans for what he wants to do to the Palestinian people,” The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/arsonist-arrested-for-attack-on-josh-shapiro-hated-israel-911-call-reveals">reported</a>. Balmer told authorities that he strongly disagreed with Shapiro’s stance on the war between Israel and Hamas and admitted that he would have beaten Shapiro with a hammer if he had encountered the governor during his rampage, according to police documents.</p>

<p>Balmer had past run-ins with law enforcement, and his mother said that he is “mentally ill and he went off his medication.” In 2023, police responded to a call from Balmer’s home, and he reportedly told police that he attempted suicide with a “bottle full of pills” and got into a fight with his wife and 13-year-old son. His wife alleged that Balmer hit the teenager and punched her in the face and bit her. He was charged with three counts of simple assault at the time.</p>
<p>Last year, as Shapiro was on the shortlist of potential running mates for then-Vice President Kamala Harris, the governor faced intense criticism from many on the Left for his stance on the war in Gaza. Harris ultimately skipped over Shapiro and selected Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz. Shapiro maintained that he was not passed over due to any form of antisemitism within the party.</p>
<p>Balmer’s social media activity shows that he expressed a range of leftist beliefs, while also criticizing former President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump, The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/04/14/us-news/cody-balmer-suspected-josh-shapiro-arsonist-pictured/">reported</a>. Anti-Israel Man Pleads Guilty After Terrorizing Pennsylvania Governor’s Home

<p>Hamas publicly executed at least seven men on Monday as the terror group moves to reassert control over the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire agreement with Israel.</p>
<p>The men, whom Hamas accused of working with Israeli forces, were bound, dragged in front of a crowd of people, and forced to their knees, according to a video that was verified by <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/hamas-fighters-tighten-grip-gaza-clouding-future-ceasefire-2025-10-14/">Reuters</a> and the <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cvg02zp7j2rt?post=asset%3A6951fa1b-1a5f-41f8-86a7-354681367720#post">BBC</a>. Hamas fighters then shot each man in the back of the head. The terror group said that the men were “criminals and collaborators with Israel,&#8221; the BBC reported.</p>
<p>Since the ceasefire and hostage deal with Israel, Hamas has been fighting rival groups in the Gaza Strip, seeking to reestablish dominance over Gazans. Dozens of people have been killed in skirmishes between Hamas and rival groups this week, Reuters reported.</p>
<p>Following the Trump-brokered deal, Israeli forces partially withdrew from the Gaza Strip, moving back to an agreed-upon line near the Israeli border. The hostage deal was only the first phase of Trump&#8217;s 20-point peace plan for the region, and it does not require Hamas to disarm — a vital piece of Trump&#8217;s broader goal.</p>
<p>On Monday, the terror group stood by its agreement to hand over the remaining 20 living hostages to Israel, but it failed to locate and hand over the remains of all the deceased hostages. Israel received the bodies of just four of the 28 hostages who died in Hamas captivity, leading to <a href="https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/israel-hamas-trade-accusations-of-cease-fire-violations-dd543773?gaa_at=eafs&amp;gaa_n=ASWzDAg5MecCDo9DtEx2H9iUEXSgmZN1sWVtq1IY5veKyKYB7NZ90h0sYvvBiWZv1oI%3D&amp;gaa_ts=68ee580b&amp;gaa_sig=9jS1zQX9QAPunyfGT5y4YQopkyohbG4yL7J7foLewnhvt8Q7KEusCFu2VWrrHeu-7ElWStJ9mJmihSEhGpEVmA%3D%3D">accusations</a> that the terror group is already failing to abide by the terms set out in the ceasefire agreement. In return for the hostages, Israel agreed to release nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, including hundreds of terrorists.</p>

<p>Hamas also accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement after Israeli troops fired upon Palestinians on Tuesday. The Israel Defense Forces said that troops warned a group of people to turn back as they approached them in northern Gaza.</p>
<p>&#8220;After multiple attempts to distance them, the suspects refused to comply, prompting troops to open fire to remove the threat. Reports of terrorists infiltrating an IDF position are incorrect,&#8221; the IDF <a href="https://x.com/IDF/status/1978018729649643600">said</a>. &#8220;The IDF urges Gaza residents to follow instructions and keep their distance from IDF troops.&#8221;</p>
<p>President Trump spoke at the Knesset and then traveled to Egypt to meet with Arab leaders and tout the peace efforts in the Middle East. During his speech at the Knesset, Trump said that the agreement marks the beginning of &#8220;the golden age of Israel and the golden age of the Middle East.”</p>
<p>“This is not only the end of a war — it is the end of an age of terror and death, and the beginning of the age of faith, and hope, and of God,” he added. “This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.”</p>
