Trump Attacks Schwarzenegger AGAIN On Twitter

   DailyWire.com

Unsatisified with his jab at former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, President Trump decided to attack Schwarzenegger again on Twitter Friday morning:

On Thursday, Trump had opined at the National Prayer Breakfast, “They hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place, and we know how that turned out. The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster,” adding, “I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can, for those ratings.”

Schwarzenegger fired back on Twitter with a video in which he said, “Hey, Donald. I have a great idea: Why don’t we switch jobs. You take over TV because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job, and people can finally sleep comfortably again, hm?”

Trump, stung, responded on Twitter, “Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got “swamped” (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary.”

Schwarzenegger took the punch and threw one of his own, tweeting, “There’s nothing more important than the people’s work. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.”

“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies.”

Schwarzenegger followed with a tweet in which he stated, “Please study this quote from Lincoln’s inaugural, ‪@realDonaldTrump. It inspired me every day I was Governor, and I hope it inspires you.” The tweet was accompanied by a video in which Schwarzenegger quoted from Abraham Lincoln’s first inaugural address, in which Lincoln said:

We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.
