Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce revealed what he thinks is the reason why the world is so fascinated has with his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Kelce — whose relationship with Swift has dominated headlines since the superstar singer showed up at that first game in September — said he thinks the reason people are so interested in their romance is because of the values the couple shares. (19:55 minute mark)
“I think the values that we stand for, just who we are as people,” Kelce said during a Super Bowl LVIII press conference on Thursday. “We love to shine light on others. Shine light around the people that help and support us.”

“And on top of that, I feel like we both have just a love for life,” he added.
Later in the press conference, another member of the press asked the Chiefs player to finish the lyrics to one of Swift’s songs, “Karma,” in which she changed the lyrics to include a reference to Kelce when he was at her show in Buenos Aires back in November. “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” Swift sang.
Kelce was able to fill in the blank “Chiefs,” but when pressed by the reporter to finish the line, he asked what the next question was.
During a recent interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Kelce talked about the attention his relationship has garnered and said that it was nothing he could have prepared himself for.
“It’s exciting for me but it was all brand new,” the Chiefs star said. “From having the paparazzi follow me every single day into work [to] everybody having my name on their talk show every single day whether it’s sports, whether it’s not sports.”

“It’s been a crazy, crazy ride I could’ve never anticipated man, but I’m having fun with it,” he added. “The majority of the world is having fun with it, outside of all the cranky NFL Fans who just don’t want to see the Chiefs win.”
Kelce said no matter what people might be speculating, he and the “Blank Space” hitmaker are “just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it.”
“It’s nothing more than that,” he added. “And how much the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it. And we enjoy every single bit of it.”
“Sure enough, I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends,” Kelce continued. “It’s been nothing but a wonderful year.”
