<p>The chairman of the New Hampshire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/democratic-party">Democratic Party</a> claimed without evidence late last week that if public schools do not withhold information from parents about their children&#8217;s behavior in school as it relates to so-called &#8220;gender identity counseling&#8221; that some parents will beat their children to death.</p>
<p>Raymond Buckley made the outlandish claim on social media Friday in response to another tweet that highlighted the stance of Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH).</p>
<p>&#8220;Should parents have the right to know if their children are receiving gender identity counseling at school, or is Manchester school district right to keep it secret from moms and dads?&#8221; the New Hampshire Journal asked on Twitter.</p>
<p>Conservative commentator Michael Graham responded, &#8220;<span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">The most interesting part of this story out of </span><span class="r-18u37iz">#NHPolitics</span><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> is that </span><span class="r-18u37iz">@RepChrisPappas</span><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> is unabashedly arguing that parents should NOT have the right to know about behavior of their own children.&#8221;</span></p>
<p>Buckley responded to Graham&#8217;s tweet, writing: &#8220;<span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">You’re purposely going after children, endangering their lives, mental health &amp; safety &amp; its disgusting. Not all families are the same, some kids will be kicked out or beaten (to death) or commit suicide. All to try to get votes for Karoline? </span><span class="r-18u37iz">#NHPolitics&#8221;</span></p>
<p>&#8220;The chair of @NHDems stating clearly the party&#8217;s position is that teachers should decide what parents are allowed to know about their own children,&#8221; Graham responded. &#8220;@RepChrisPappas voted Thursday to kill a requirement schools inform parents when their kids receive counseling at school.&#8221;</p>

<p>Buckley&#8217;s remarks come as Karoline Leavitt won the Republican Party primary last month for the state&#8217;s 1st Congressional District, which is currently represented by Pappas.</p>
<p>“The Biden administration labeled parents as ‘domestic terrorists,’ and now the chair of the New Hampshire Democrat Party is claiming Granite State parents beat their kids to death,” Leavitt said in response to Buckley&#8217;s tweet. “The Democrats’ hatred for parents who simply want to be involved in their children’s education is disgusting. It’s rooted in the fact that Democrats like Chris Pappas are funded by powerful teachers unions who want total control over our public education system. While Pappas continues to side with Joe Biden and radical bureaucrats, I will continue to stand with Granite State mothers and fathers.”</p>
<p>New Hampshire GOP chair Stephen Stepanek also responded to Buckley&#8217;s remarks, saying that Buckley&#8217;s statement made it &#8220;clear where the New Hampshire Democratic Party stands on parental involvement in their child’s education.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;They believe that parents have zero rights when it comes to knowing what’s going on inside the classroom,&#8221; Stepanek said. “New Hampshire Democrats believe it is their right to raise and indoctrinate the children of our state. New Hampshire Republicans believe it is the God-given right of parents to raise their children, and that right does not stop at the classroom door.”</p>
