Entrepreneur Naval Ravikant, who has millions of followers on social media, said in an interview this week that he believes the Democrat Party&#8217;s weaponization of the justice system against former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> could destroy the country.
Ravikant made the remarks during an interview Friday with Sirius XM host Megyn Kelly while discussing his recent decision to wade into politics.
&#8220;It was the lawfare that kind of brought me off the sidelines,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s really disgusting behavior, because this is how you descend into a complete Banana Republic with military coups and military rule. The moment you can start weaponizing the law against your enemies selectively, that&#8217;s the beginning of the end.&#8221;
&#8220;As a clear example, if you were to actually look at the charges that were brought against Trump, and I actually read them quite carefully, I mean, these were really trumped up,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;They were really made up. You violated the statute of limitations. You tried to drum things up into a felony when there was no evidence of such. It was a miscategorization of business expenses. When you have complex business dealings, like I do, and like many people do, you can always find something.&#8221;
He said the &#8220;selective prosecution&#8221; that Democrats are enforcing against Trump comes out of the &#8220;progressive DA movement&#8221; that is funded by Democrat megadonor George Soros.
&#8220;If you want the case against Kamala Harris, it&#8217;s the fact that she was DA in San Francisco and San Francisco&#8217;s a mess,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And in fact, afterwards, she advocated for George Gascon, who&#8217;s the guy who is destroying LA through basically not prosecuting criminals and going after business owners.&#8221;

He said that selective prosecution is &#8220;the stuff that ends the Republic&#8221; or could turn the U.S. into a &#8220;one party state, better known as a dictatorship.&#8221;
&#8220;China is a one party state. North Korea is a one party state,&#8221; he said. &#8220;So I don&#8217;t use the words &#8216;one party state&#8217; lightly. But I think the weaponization of the justice system, the engagement, willingness to go into lawfare, that is the thing that will lead to violence. That is the thing that will lead to a dissolution and a breakup and something worse in the United States. So I think when these guys start playing with going after their political enemies, when Alvin Bragg runs on the explicit campaign to take down Trump, and then they go hunting through and looking for anything and drumming up any charge, and go after him in the most favorable juries in the most favorable part of the country, and then just control the evidence and control the narrative, is that is the beginning of the end.&#8221;
&#8220;And the people who in Silicon Valley and the donors who are out there supporting this lawfare, they&#8217;re dead to me,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I mean, these people are destroying the ground on which they stand. Do they think they won&#8217;t be next?&#8221;

Sen. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ted-cruz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ted Cruz</a> (R-TX) slammed Vice President Kamala Harris’ “scripted” interview with CNN this week, but gave her credit for telling the truth on one thing: Her “values have not changed.”
Cruz made the remarks during an episode of this “Verdict” podcast this week while discussing the Democratic Party presidential nominee’s first interview, which she was unable to do by herself.
“Verdict” co-host Ben Ferguson said that “comrade Kamala” wants “a 70% to 80% tax rate, no cash bail, gun confiscation, zero fracking, a ban on gasoline-powered cars.”
Cruz said that Harris’ “my values have not changed” line was something that her campaign came up with to be her “lead talking point on any flip-flop that she got pressed” on.
“And actually, at some level, that&#8217;s the truest statement she made the entire interview because Kamala Harris is a radical leftist,” he said. “She is extreme. And she still believes all this stuff. And you know what? It&#8217;s the reason why nobody on the Left is unhappy that she&#8217;s suddenly running away from her positions because they know she&#8217;s lying.”

“Let&#8217;s be clear. Border Czar Kamala Harris was in charge of this invasion,” he continued. “It happened on her watch, and if, God forbid, she becomes president, it will get worse. And everyone gets the joke. All the leftists know she still believes all this stuff. She just has to say some more conservative things in the campaign to fool the gullible voters, but none of her radical supporters believe for a moment she&#8217;s right.”
“Her values have not changed,” he added. “She still believes every word of that montage, and God forbid, if she&#8217;s in the Oval Office, she&#8217;ll do all of that and more. Unlike Joe Biden. Joe Biden is a senile puppet. Kamala Harris is a true believer.”

A four-term Democrat Texas state representative who broke with her party and sided with the GOP on bills such as one banning gender-transitioning surgeries for minors and another designed to remove sexually explicit books from school libraries has announced she will join the Republican Party.
Houston Democrat Shawn Thierry, who lost her seat in a May runoff, announced her decision on Friday.
“As a woman, a mother, and a lawmaker, I have dedicated my life to championing the values that fortify our families and uplift our communities. After much reflection, prayer, and soul-searching, I have come to a decision that aligns with my core values and the best interests of our beloved country,” she wrote on X.
“For my entire adult life, I have voted as a Democrat. I was raised in a household with my amazing parents who believed the Democratic Party was the party of the people—a beacon of justice and opportunity for all,” she recalled. “But as the years have passed, I have watched with dismay as the party I once knew has drifted far from its roots. It has become almost unrecognizable—radicalized and increasingly out of touch with the values that millions of everyday Americans hold dear. The Democratic Party has veered so far left, so deep into the progressive abyss, that it now champions policies that I cannot, in good conscience, support policies like promoting sex changes for children during a vulnerable stage of their lives, and dismantling Title IX protections for women in sports.”

The entire Kamala Harris campaign relies on you knowing nothing about Kamala Harris.
First rule of Kamala Harris Fight Club: Nobody talks about Kamala Harris. You must never mention her positions. You must never mention what her crap administration has done. You must never mention anything of the sort. And you must certainly never attempt to get to the underlying philosophy that motivates her politics. You must never ever attempt to do that.
That’s because if you dig just a tiny bit, you find that the Democratic Party has gone so radically far to the Left that they are now indistinguishable from the Democratic Socialists of America. That is the reality.
Look at the great “intellectual luminaries” of the Democratic Party. I&#8217;m not talking about the politicians; I&#8217;m talking about the thought leaders.
Among those <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-usual-suspects-claim-gays-ouster-was-coordinated-racist-attack-it-doesnt-go-well">thought leaders</a> is Nikole Hannah-Jones. You may not have heard about Hannah-Jones recently because, after all, she hasn&#8217;t done any actual work for the last five years. She wrote the absolutely fictitious “The 1619 Project” and in 2020 was given a Pulitzer for it. It is trash. The entire 1619 Project is rooted in the idea that every element of American life is built on the foundation of slavery, and thus morally corrupt and evil and must be wiped away.
The 1619 Project falsifies history, as professional historians have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/1619-project-book-panned-by-historians-hits-amazons-bestseller-list" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pointed out.</a> But this supposed genius was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 2017. She is the apotheosis of a “Democratic intellectual.” She gave a <a href="https://www.bmc.org/eqty2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">speech recently</a> in which <a href="https://x.com/6gems/status/1828522478852771875" target="_blank" rel="noopener">she said</a>, “You know what COVID taught me? That we have enough for everybody. Overnight, we printed $6 trillion. We had universal health care. We had universal basic income. COVID proved it&#8217;s possible.”
If that sounds like communism to you, that&#8217;s because it is communism. You may recall that COVID ended with a 40-year high in inflation, a massively spiraling debt problem, and the complete shutdown of the American economy.
You might remember because you were there. But according to Hannah-Jones, that was amazing. That is what America ought to look like. It ought to look like the government paying you to stay home, shutting down your business, and then compensating you for shutting down your business. The government ought to provide everything for free, and it will have no impact.
In June, Hannah-Jones <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dVGFzvOKdQ">said</a>:

Do you remember how when all of a sudden all of America was experiencing what black people experience regularly, high unemployment rates, housing instability, inability to access health care, we printed 3 to $6 trillion overnight, overnight. And all of a sudden you couldn&#8217;t evict people. We had universal housing. Anybody who wanted to go get their shot didn&#8217;t have to show a lick of paper or a dollar. Nothing. You showed up, You got the shot.
We paid people income, universal income. My cousin Shamir, who&#8217;s in the 1619 documentary in the capitalism episode, started working at 15 years old. The most she ever made was when she got laid off for COVID and got a check from the government to stay at home. The most she ever made. And she cried about it because she was like, “I have been able to save $1,000 for the first time in my life only because all these people are dying out here. That&#8217;s the first time America cared about me.” </blockquote>
The proposal is free money.
The reason the government compensated people during COVID is because the government told them they could not work. The government said you cannot go to school. You cannot go into your place of work. You have to shut down your business. They shut down the entire country, and then they had to do something so people could remain living.
They took away your livelihood, which is not the same thing as a high unemployment rate that results from high levels of high school dropouts, single motherhood, or dysfunction in the home, community, or schools.
It’s not the same, but this is the actual ideal Democrats are shooting for. They won&#8217;t say it out loud because if they ever did, people would recognize how ugly it is. The big problem for the Democrats with Hannah-Jones is that she&#8217;s constantly saying the Democratic ideal out loud.

The reality is that the Biden-Harris administration has tried a lot of this.
Blowing money into the economy, the modern monetary theory that debt doesn&#8217;t matter, that doing so creates a rising tide lifting all boats doesn’t work.
It&#8217;s amoral. Money doesn&#8217;t grow on trees. It&#8217;s not magically popping out of the ground because the Federal Reserve says it is. Money is merely a mechanism of exchange. Money does not have its own inherent value any more than inches have their own inherent value on a ruler. It is a measure and a way of quantifying exchange. That is all money is. That&#8217;s all it’s ever been.
But for the Democrats, the Democratic Party, and Harris, the basic idea is the government can magically make money and then just give it out, and that&#8217;s what makes the economy go. That is the basic theory of leftism when it comes to economics. It&#8217;s the basic Keynesian theory as to how economics should work.
But the actual result is people feel left behind — because it doesn&#8217;t actually work that way.
We are now spending more money year on year than any country in the history of the planet. Yet fewer Americans feel they can achieve what the government has been promising them: the home, the family, the retirement.
That&#8217;s not a spending problem. That is something else. It is a perversion of all the incentives leading people to make the right decisions that allow them to build a home and a family and a retirement. Only <a href="https://www.wsj.com/economy/consumers/american-dream-poll-us-economy-e5ddf640?mod=hp_lead_pos7" target="_blank" rel="noopener">10% of Americans</a> believe home ownership is easy or somewhat easy to achieve.
Guess whose fault that might be.
How about the Biden-Harris administration, which has created the most unaffordable housing market in history? Look at all the restrictions the Democrats have put on building all across the country. Look at how they have inflated the currency, which means an increase in the interest rates, which means higher mortgage rates. Then, nobody wants to sell their homes to end up with a higher mortgage.

In 2005, George W. Bush suggested privatizing Social Security and Democrats went nuts. In January 2005, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was 10,603. Bush was pointing out Social Security is a pyramid scheme. If we had taken the money, put it in an index fund, and left it there until now, trillions of dollars would have flowed into Social Security because today, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is 41,000.
Instead, the federal government was left in charge of the program, so they could raid it whenever necessary.
That is Democratic policy making: You cannot bring the private markets to bear on anything.
Democrats have said everyone needs to go to college, and we need to pour money into student loans. And the cost of college has shot up and the worth of a degree has dropped precipitously.
Harris is proposing $5 trillion in tax increases, including a 28% federal corporate tax rate and a 44.6% top capital gains and dividend tax rate, which would give America the highest total tax rate on corporate income in the developed world.
Democrat policies fail.
And Harris, the most leftist major party presidential candidate in American history, has not been forced to answer for any of them.

Republicans are gaining ground on Democrats in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, registering more new voters than Democrats in July.
Axios <a href="https://www.axios.com/local/philadelphia/2024/08/27/pennsylvania-voter-registration-republican-democrats" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> on Tuesday that Republicans added 19,127 new voters to their rolls in July, while Democrats added 17,495. For the year, Republicans are outpacing Democrats in new voter registration in Pennsylvania, leading 94,603 to 87,325, according to the state. The gains for Republicans in Pennsylvania include the all-important Bucks County — to the northeast of Philadelphia — as the GOP is leading the Democrats in new voter registration for the first time in the county in 15 years, according to the <a href="https://www.inquirer.com/politics/election/bucks-county-pennsylvania-registered-republicans-20240724.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Philadelphia Inquirer</a>.
&#8220;It’s a morale booster, it’s something we’ve been targeting for years,” Bucks County GOP Chair Pat Poprik said.
Democrats still hold a lead over Republicans in total registered voters in Pennsylvania, with 3.9 million to the GOP&#8217;s 3.5 million.

Pennsylvania is arguably the most important swing state in the 2024 election, and the Trump campaign is heavily focused on reaching out to voters there. President Joe Biden took the state in the 2020 election by more than <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/11/03/us/elections/results-pennsylvania.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">81,000 votes,</a> boosted by a 17,000-vote advantage in Bucks County. In Donald Trump&#8217;s 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton, he <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/elections/2016/results/pennsylvania" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> Pennsylvania by more than 44,000 votes, coming close to Clinton&#8217;s vote tally in Bucks County.
The Trump campaign and Republican Party are also pushing for Pennsylvania Republicans to embrace mail-in ballots and absentee voting. It was not only a very big moment for Kennedy to endorse Trump, but he also gave a barn burner of <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2024/08/23/watch_live_independent_candidate_robert_f_kennedy_expected_to_exit_presidential_race_rumor_he_may_endorse_trump.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a speech</a>, the first 15 minutes of which was one of the most articulate and directed assaults against the media and the Democrats I have ever heard.
Of course, when Kennedy started that, CNN cut to their own anchors. They pulled away from RFK in the middle of that historic announcement, specifically because he was assaulting them at the time.
He started by launching into the Democratic Party, which had basically barred him from any of the primaries in an attempt to cover up Biden&#8217;s senility. The Democratic Party rigged its primary rules to stop anyone from running seriously against Biden to ensure he&#8217;d get the nomination.
RFK Jr. called them out:
<blockquote>In the name of saving democracy, the Democratic Party set itself to dismantling it, lacking confidence in its candidate, that its candidate could win in a fair election at the voting booth. The DNC waged continual legal warfare against both President Trump and myself. … It ran a sham primary that was rigged to prevent any serious challenge to President Biden. Then, when a predictably bungled debate performance precipitated the palace coup against President Biden, the same shadowy DNC operatives appointed his successor, also without an election.</blockquote>
Totally correct. 
Then, he went after the media and was spot-on again.
<blockquote>Over the course of more than a year in a campaign where my poll numbers reached at times in the high 20s, the DNC-allied mainstream media networks maintained a near-perfect embargo on interviews with me. During his 10-month presidential campaign in 1992, Ross Perot gave 34 interviews on mainstream networks. In contrast, during the 16 months since I declared, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and CNN combined to give only two live interviews with me. Those networks instead ran a continuous daily stream of hit pieces with inaccurate, often vile pejoratives and defamatory smears. Some of those same networks colluded with the DNC to keep me off the debate stage.</blockquote>
Correct again.
Then, he formally endorsed Trump in the middle of the speech:
<blockquote>It’s with a sense of victory and not defeat that I am suspending my campaign activities. Not only did we do the impossible by collecting a million, we changed the national political conversation forever. 
It is with a sense of victory, not defeat, that I am suspending my campaign activities. Not only did we do the impossible by collecting one million signatures, but we also changed the national political conversation forever. … and these are the principal causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump.</blockquote>
He listed free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the war on American children’s health.
This is a big deal. Many people are trying to play this down, suggesting he doesn&#8217;t have that many voters left. But the reality is that the voters who left him already went to Kamala Harris, so he was just a holding position for people who were favoring Trump but liked RFK better. Now, he&#8217;s fully joined the campaign.
Enthusiasm has been injected into the Trump campaign. On Friday, Trump introduced RFK at a speech in Arizona, and the crowd went nuts.
We are now in the homestretch of this campaign. It is up to Donald Trump to actually prosecute the case against Kamala Harris.

He&#8217;s going to be fighting in the face of an overwhelming media tsunami like we have never seen. We&#8217;ve been watching it happen in real time. And it is mind-bogglingly crazy to witness the media openly being the Praetorian Guard for Kamala Harris.
It&#8217;s been the Biden-Harris administration since Day One. Now we are told that not only is she an amazing politician, but she also has no responsibility for anything that has happened under the Biden administration. Everything she touches is a giant failure, but the machine wants her because all the machine cares about is that its positions are forwarded.
The DNC is a well-oiled machine, and that machine was breaking down because its face was a dead person. The face of the machine was Joe Biden, so they did what a machine would do; they ousted the dead body, and they put in place a fresh new face — except that Harris is not fresh or a new face. 
Kamala Harris is the fresh coat of paint on the broken machine that has been running American politics for at least 12 of the last six years. 
Democrats typically are quite happy with their party because they get most of what they want from their party. What they want from their party is a continuous move to the Left, and they always get it. Dump trucks filled with money arrived at the doorstep of the Harris campaign from billionaire donors the moment she was chosen.
All of this relies on Democrats having to hide what the machine does. They have to pretend Harris is something new. They have to hide her. So far: 37 days, no interviews.
This is how dictatorships work. It doesn&#8217;t matter what the person&#8217;s policies are. You are supposed to worship Big Brother, but not know his position. The whole point in delaying this is to make sure no one knows her positions when they go to the polls.
They hold the American public in utter disdain.
In fact, Harris is now attempting to switch all of the terms of the debate to which she agreed with President Trump. She wants to change the rules. She&#8217;s come out of the woodwork to explain that she wants the mics to be hot.
Why does she want the mics to be hot? She is betting that Trump won&#8217;t be able to contain himself, that he will find a way to talk over her, and then she will be able to do the “I&#8217;m talking here” routine she used against Mike Pence in 2020. She jumped in to pretend she was being victimized because she’s a woman. She&#8217;s going to try that again.
She also wants to be able to interrupt Trump because she wishes to jump in, along with the commentators, and “fact-check” him in real time to get under his skin. That&#8217;s the entire goal.
She wants to be seated because Trump is taller than she is. And she wants to use notes because Harris without notes is a disaster.

They want to change all the rules.
The whole goal here is to change the rules. They&#8217;re hoping that if the negotiations break down, there won&#8217;t be any debates at all, which would be her ideal because she doesn’t want a debate. She never wants to be fact-checked or asked a simple question.
At this point, the entire Trump campaign should be asking: “So why didn&#8217;t you do it?” Every time she says she wants to do something, the answer from Trump should be: “So why didn&#8217;t you do it?”
“You say that you want to secure the border. So why didn&#8217;t you do it? You say you wanted to bring down inflation. So why didn&#8217;t you do it? You say you want to make housing cheaper, so why didn&#8217;t you do it? You&#8217;re the vice president of the United States.”
That&#8217;s the point: to say over and over, “Why didn&#8217;t you do it?”
Because guess what? Trump did. He was the president. His record proves it.
But the entire goal is to obscure her record and pretend that she doesn&#8217;t exist, that she should only exist as a concept.
But if Trump hits her with a reality check, he will do Americans a great service for the future.

Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) responded to the Democratic Party&#8217;s eleventh-hour change-up — replacing President Joe Biden with Vice President Kamala Harris without a vote and just days before the Democratic National Convention kicked off — and although he cracked a few jokes about it, he did not appear to be completely sold on or thrilled with the arrangement.
Newsom — who had at one point been rumored to be on the short list of potential candidates the Democratic Party might choose from if Biden bowed out — joined the hosts of the podcast &#8220;Pod Save America&#8221; while at the DNC, and they pressed him about &#8220;the switch.&#8221;

&#8220;A 30-minute convention,&#8221; Newsom continued. &#8220;You know, between a tweet and then another tweet —&#8221;
&#8220;It&#8217;s amazing how it happened,&#8221; one of the hosts laughed.
&#8220;Yeah, it&#8217;s been amazing, but you know what is amazing is how unified everybody is,&#8221; Newsom concluded. &#8220;I mean, it&#8217;s next level.&#8221;

Well, the reviews for the DNC are in — and across the political spectrum, on media outlets as far-Left as ABC News to those as far-Left as NBC News, people pretending to be journalists all agree that this Democrat Convention was a joy-filled, folksy, All-American, joy-filled, totally normal, full of joy, freedom-loving gathering of utterly joyful Baby-murdering Communists pretending to ignore antisemitic pro-Islamist terrorist protestors just long enough to get elected, when they can capitulate to them entirely and also full of joy. 
The only sour note came from grumpy, non-joyous Republicans, who attacked Democrats for offering free abortions and vasectomies outside the convention center. Republicans are deeply concerned that if Democrats have too many abortions and vasectomies, there won’t be any more Democrats, and Republicans might accidentally win an election and have to govern, which sounds much harder than talking tough on Fox News. 
Indoors, the joyful, folksy folksiness began with a touching joy-filled all-American farewell speech by Joe Whatever-his-name-used-to-be, who was joyously dragged onstage by Nancy Pelosi, while he dug his fingernails into the floor leaving inch-deep scratch marks as he joyously screamed, “I don’t want to go, please don’t make me go.” 
Far-Left media outlets like CBS and even some far-Left outlets like PBS — or wait, maybe it’s PBS that’s on the far-Left and CBS that’s on the far-Left, I always get those two confused because there’s only one letter of difference between them and they’re both Communist — but anyway, CBS and PBS and all the BS in between agreed that Biden’s farewell speech was a joy-filled, touching, tear-filled, joy-filled touching joy-filled tribute to whatever it was he was talking about.

A joy-filled Biden told the joy-filled crowd, “Sure, I thought I could win re-election. But Nancy Pelosi quietly explained that if I didn’t step down, she would cut off my testicles and wear them for earrings, and so with a great sense of regret and also terror because what a horrifying image that is — Nancy Pelosi wearing my nuts for earrings — holy crap, no wonder I can’t remember who I am or even what the end of this sentence is. But my legacy is clear: I passed all kinds of bills with things in them and now the price of bread is more than fifty percent higher than it was when I took office, but I can afford that, because I’ve made tens of millions of dollars peddling my influence to America’s enemies so at least I&#8217;m not like that stab-in-the-back SOB Obama who ripped off Netflix for a fortune to make god-awful movies so now Netflix can’t afford to let your grandmother share your subscription anymore and she just sits around wondering where all those nice black Victorian Englishmen on TV went and hoping they didn’t escape into real life where they scare the hell out of her. And now I’m very sleepy, so I have to go back to napping and being the leader of the free world.”
Biden’s joyful speech was followed by joyful speeches by the joyful Obamas. First, Michelle Obama joyfully told the joyful crowd “Donald Trump is trying to make people afraid of Barack and me because we’re two college educated black people who are trying to destroy America from within. And that’s racist. We’re not trying to destroy America because we’re black. We’re trying to destroy America because we’re college educated, and have therefore been stripped of our capacity to reason and feel gratitude. So let’s reject racism, and come together to tear this country to pieces in the name of outlandish, anti-factual ideologies that could only be mistaken for reality after four-years of relentless indoctrination, not to mention drugs.” 
Barack Obama then followed his wife with a speech celebrating his legacy of giving nukes to Iran and making it impossible for your grandmother to share your Netflix subscription. 
Finally, Kamala Harris ended the convention by appearing in the form of a hologram, who declared that America needs a change from all the things she supported for the last four years, so vote for her. When asked why the real Kamala couldn’t appear instead of a phony three-dimensional image, DNC officials said that was the only Kamala they had.

Kennedy Jr.</a> eviscerated the legacy media and Democrat Party in a scathing speech on Friday where he explained why he was suspending his campaign and endorsing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Kennedy made the remarks during a press conference in Phoenix, Arizona, where he explained how today&#8217;s modern Democrat Party is vastly different than the party he grew up with.
&#8220;Back then, the Democrats were the champions of the Constitution, of civil rights,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The Democrats stood against authoritarianism, against censorship, against colonialism, imperialism, and unjust wars. We were the party of labor, of the working class. The Democrats were the party of government transparency and the champion of the environment.&#8221;
He noted that the party has morphed into the party of &#8220;war, censorship, corruption, big pharma, big tech, big AG, and big money,&#8221; adding that he left the party &#8220;when it abandoned democracy by canceling the primary&#8221; to hide the cognitive decline of President Joe Biden.
RFK said that the term &#8220;democracy&#8221; has &#8220;become little more than a slogan&#8221; for the Democrat Party.
&#8220;In the name of saving democracy, the Democratic Party set itself to dismantling it, lacking confidence in its candidate, that its candidate could win in a fair election at the voting booth, the DNC waged continual legal warfare against both President Trump and myself,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Each time that our volunteers turned in those towering boxes of signatures needed to get on the ballot, the DNC dragged us into court, state after state, attempting to erase their work and to subvert the will of the voters who had signed those petitions.&#8221;

Then when a predictably bungled debate performance precipitated the palace coup against President Biden, the same shadowy DNC operatives appointed his successor, also without an election.&#8221;
RFK noted that Harris was &#8220;so unpopular with voters that she dropped out in 2020 without winning a single delegate.&#8221;
He said that his father and uncle would be appalled that Harris was given the nomination and has avoided all interviews and unscripted encounters with voters.
&#8220;My father and my uncle were always conscious of America&#8217;s image abroad because of our nation&#8217;s role as the template for democracy, the role model for democratic processes, and the leader of the free world,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Instead of showing us her substance and character, the DNC and its media organs engineered a surge of popularity for Vice President Harris based upon nothing: no policies, no interviews, no debates, only smoke and mirrors and balloons in a highly produced Chicago circus.&#8221;
RFK said that Democrats aren&#8217;t focused on telling voters about Harris&#8217; policies because they are focused on casting hate onto Trump.
&#8220;How did the Democratic Party choose a candidate that has never done an interview or debate during the entire election cycle?&#8221; he asked. &#8220;They did it by weaponizing the government agencies. They did it by abandoning democracy. They did it by suing the opposition and by disenfranchising American voters. What most alarms me isn&#8217;t how the Democratic Party conducts its internal affairs or runs its candidates. What alarms me is the resort to censorship and media control and the weaponization of the federal agencies.&#8221;
&#8220;When a U.S. president colludes with or outright coerces media companies to censor political speech, it&#8217;s an attack on our most sacred right, of free expression, and that&#8217;s the very right upon which all of our other constitutional rights rest,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;President Biden mocked Vladimir Putin&#8217;s 88% landslide in the Russian elections, observing that Putin and his party controlled the Russian press and that Putin prevented serious opponents from appearing on the ballot; but here in America, the DNC also prevented opponents from appearing on the ballot, and our television networks expose themselves as Democratic Party organs.&#8221;
RFK said that legacy media companies have effectively banned him from interviews during the election in what he said was a coordinated effort with the Democrat Party that included vile smears against him.
He said that he decided to support Trump because they aligned on free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the war on children.
He added that he was working to get his name removed from the ballot in 10 swing states where, if he remained on the ballot, he would be helping Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.

RFK Jr. Tears Media, Democrat Party To Pieces In Scathing Speech; Endorses Trump

Kamala Harris&#8217;s entire campaign comes down to one word: bulls***.
It&#8217;s all just bulls***. That&#8217;s it.
She has no policies. She apparently didn&#8217;t exist before Thursday night.
It&#8217;s amazing. Someone struck the ground and up she popped from the ground in a haze of smoke. And there she was, fully formed, but without any positions.
You see, she&#8217;s not been vice president of the United States. She&#8217;s not responsible for a single thing that has happened for the last three and a half years. In fact, the last three and a half years were a figment of everyone’s imagination. None of it ever happened.
What Kamala is telling everyone is that the actual president of the United States right now is Donald Trump, and he must be ousted because he&#8217;s the incumbent.
“We need a change,” she is insisting. And the way to change horses right now is to elect the exact same horse. That&#8217;s the way to do it.
Remember, she wasn&#8217;t the most liberal senator in the United States. That never happened. That didn&#8217;t exist. None of it.
Harris is here to “bring us forward.” Not backward. Up, not down.

Thursday night, Harris gave a speech that was just like Kodos from Treehouse of Horror on “The Simpsons.” Substitute quotations from a piratical alien who inhabited the body of Bill Clinton in “The Simpsons” in 1996, and it sounds exactly like Kamala Harris because we are now a country beyond parody. 
Kodos <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqjhHVUzl8o" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated</a>, “My fellow Americans, as a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball. But tonight, I say we must move forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.” 
That was Kamala Harris last night. 
According to the media, it was unbelievable.
They are Jeffrey Toobining themselves over the magic of a woman who is a terrible politician, who is pretty good at speaking off the teleprompter, but who says nothing.
An example: David Rothkopf, who is allegedly a columnist for the Daily Beast (and should be ashamed of himself because any self-respecting human should not write words like these), <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/kamala-harris-just-gave-the-speech-of-her-life" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a>:

In a week of speechmaking like none of us have seen in our lifetimes, with one barn-burning or heart-tugging or inspiring address after another electrifying the crowd at the Democratic National Convention, the biggest question confronting Kamala Harris before she took the stage for the final keynote of the event was “How can she top all that?”
How do you top the fire of AOC? How do you top the resonance of Hillary Clinton? The eloquence of Pete Buttigieg? The loved-filled words of Doug Emhoff? The gut wrenching testimony of the women who had suffered due to Donald Trump’s assault on their fundamental rights and bodily autonomy? The compelling remarks of one Republican leader after another, from Olivia Troye to Adam Kinzinger, who said that this year they would be voting for Kamala not as Democrats but as patriots, to protect our democracy? …
The trip to church on which Reverend Raphael Warnock and then Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries took the crowd? Oprah’s searing surprise address? The big names like Bill Clinton or Nancy Pelosi? The high wattage rising stars like Wes Moore and Gretchen Whitmer? The valedictory of Joe Biden? The completely expected but nonetheless surpassing mastery of Michelle and Barack Obama? The star-is-born-yet-again vibe of Tim Walz’s remarks elevated by the pictures of his loving family? The heartbreaking personal stories of gun violence victims?</blockquote>
This goes on for paragraphs and paragraphs:
<blockquote>Michelle Obama described it as “magic.” Everyone spoke of the joy that lifted everyone’s remarks even more effectively and consistently and higher than even the expertly crafted playlist that accompanied the ceremonial roll call vote on Tuesday night.
All of it rose to a crescendo&#8230;</blockquote>
[Editor&#8217;s Note: you don’t rise to a crescendo; a crescendo is the actual rise in volume of the sound itself.]
<blockquote>&#8230;that itself was capping off the most remarkable month of spontaneous nationwide momentum-building in U.S. political history. Which meant that for the Vice President of the United States the pressure was on. Could she be worthy of the week of praise? Could she live up to the expectations of the crowd or the audiences watching at home?
… she did just that. Even if she did not reach the highest highs of the Obamas’ remarks or the emotional depths plumbed by a simple cutaway from Tim Walz to his son Gus, she delivered not only the speech of her life on Thursday night, she delivered one that in substance, tone, and historical significance surpassed all those that came before her during this week that would have had Daniel Webster sitting up and taking notes.</blockquote>
Just go smoke a cigarette. Calm down. Whew.
That was the media&#8217;s response to Harris&#8217; speech. But here’s the thing: There is nothing there. It&#8217;s all a lie.
She&#8217;s the vice-president of the United States. Inflation has been at 40-year highs. We are in the midst of two major world conflagrations — one in the Middle East, one in Ukraine. Her administration has presided over both. She was the last person in the room when the United States decided, under Joe Biden, to pull out of Afghanistan and leave billions of dollars in U.S. military hardware there, to abandon thousands of U.S. allies to be murdered by the Taliban, to abandon 90 million Afghan women to be forced back into basements, and to get 13 American troops killed at Abbey Gate.
She was the last person in the room. She owns this economy. She owns this foreign policy. She owns the social breakdown over which she has presided.
But we&#8217;re supposed to pretend she is just brand spanking new, just fresh out of the package. It is ridiculous to take a woman who has been a senator from California and the vice president of the United States for the last three years and pretend she has had nothing to do with anything that is happening in the country right now.
But nobody in the Democratic Party gives a damn because they like Biden&#8217;s policies. They don&#8217;t care about the fact she hasn&#8217;t defined herself.
They love the fact she has not defined herself. That&#8217;s the feature, not the bug. Kamala Harris has nothing here. Nothing. She has nothing to do with what&#8217;s going on in the country. It&#8217;s vibes. It&#8217;s magic.

It’s supremely frustrating to be gaslit and told we are supposed to simply close our eyes and vote for a person based on vibes.
That is not what politics is. Politics is about how people exercise power over your life. That&#8217;s what politics is. It is not about vibe checks. It is not about being “brat.” It is not about dancing with Ghost Beyonce, who didn&#8217;t show up last night. It&#8217;s not about any of those things.
It is about what she is going to do with power.
And we know exactly what she&#8217;s going to do with power. We also know exactly what Trump is going to do with power.
And that is what&#8217;s insane.
We know precisely how Trump will govern because he did it last time, and it was pretty damn good.
We know precisely how Harris will govern because she&#8217;s there now. I know we&#8217;re supposed to pretend that&#8217;s not true, but it is. She&#8217;s the sitting vice president of the United States.
You cannot have it both ways. She was shoehorned into the presidential nomination because she&#8217;s the vice president. You cannot then pretend she has no association with the Biden-Harris administration as if she’s a brand-new creation.
It&#8217;s insulting to the American people.
And it’s bulls***.

I have been saying for months that the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/democratic-national-convention" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Democratic National Convention</a> would be indistinguishable from a national abortion convention.
The abortion van providing free chemical abortion pills just outside the convention proved me right. But the van was no departure; it was true to style, both for the Democrat Party and for Planned Parenthood.
That’s why Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson was on the agenda on the third night, joining the chorus of those attempting to deceive the American public about how harmful Republican and Trump-led “abortion bans” have been.
Three women spoke from the convention stage on the opening night. I do not dismiss their tragic circumstances or deny that they deserve our compassionate help. In fact, I work to help such women every day all across the country.
But I do object to the way the Democrat Party tries to twist these narratives to draw totally unwarranted conclusions.

Amanda Zurawski spoke about nearly dying from pre-term labor, and the Texas ban on abortion.
The fact is, however, that after the Texas Supreme Court considered her case, the Court made it clear that the Texas ban on abortion permits abortion to save a mother’s life and health. In the <a href="https://reproductiverights.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Zurawski-v-Texas-SCOTX-Opinion.pdf">words of the Court:</a>
<blockquote>A physician who tells a patient, “Your life is threatened by a complication that has arisen during your pregnancy, and you may die, or there is a serious risk you will suffer substantial physical impairment unless an abortion is performed,” and in the same breath states “but the law won’t allow me to provide an abortion in these circumstances” is simply wrong in that legal assessment.</blockquote>
If there is a dispute here for Zurawski, it is with her doctor, who under Texas law only needs to exercise reasonable medical judgment that the mother needs the abortion. There is no need to go to court, to blame the law, or to make a political case out of a personal tragedy.
Then Kaitlyn Joshua spoke, ostensibly to expose the horrific evil of Louisiana’s abortion ban that allegedly threatened her life as she was miscarrying.
Again, the Louisiana law about abortion specifically allows abortion to treat miscarriage. The duty, again, is on the doctor to provide the diagnosis.
Finally, Hadley Duvall, who became famous in Kentucky for her political ads for Democrat Gov. Andy Beshear, spoke of how her stepfather raped her and although she had a miscarriage, she has become a spokeswoman for legal abortion.
Hadley’s story – and again, I do not deny its tragic circumstances &#8212; assumes that permitting an abortion to a rape victim helps the rape victim, completely ignoring the experiences of countless women that abortion itself is a trauma.
The last thing someone traumatized by rape needs is another trauma.

Hadley raises her voice, but so does <a href="https://www.silentnomoreawareness.org/testimonies/testimony.aspx?ID=4505" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Serena Dyksen</a>, who was sexually assaulted at 13 years old, and testifies publicly that “the abortion was worse than the rape.” <a href="https://www.silentnomoreawareness.org/testimonies/testimony.aspx?ID=4487" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sarahi</a> testifies to the same thing, as does <a href="https://www.silentnomoreawareness.org/testimonies/testimony.aspx?ID=4382" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aryn Sylvester</a>.
And <a href="http://www.abortiontestimonies.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">we can go on and on</a>. 
For every story the Democrats want to highlight in their convention and in their ads, we can bring forth a hundred others talking about how harmful abortion is.
If you care about women’s health, you should be paying attention to what abortion does to women’s health, not simply preaching a dogma that abortion is, by definition, healthcare and freedom.
There’s another dimension to the Democrat dishonesty on display this week. 
By bringing to the stage women who experienced health complications and sexual assault, do they want us to believe that they are OK with just allowing abortion in those circumstances?
No, the Democrat Party opposes with all its might any law that would prohibit purely elective abortion. If they want to showcase their true policy goals, <a href="https://www.priestsforlife.org/latetermabortion/listen.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bring forward the abortionists</a> who are paid to kill healthy babies of healthy mothers in the final months of pregnancy, or the woman I ministered to who had 26 abortions.
The Democrat Party criticizes the laws in Texas and Louisiana, but doesn’t once mention that those laws also allocate substantial funds to help moms who want to have their babies, including in cases of adverse fetal conditions.
The Democratic Convention is an abortion convention, because the Democrat Party is an abortion party – and a dishonest one. If they are so proud of abortion, why not show on those big convention screens how the procedure is done? Or how about just reading a description from the medical textbooks, in which you’ll <a href="https://www.priestsforlife.org/isthiswhatyoumean/isthiswhatyoumean.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">find the words “dismember” and “decapitate?</a>”
Or how about just being honest enough to admit that the reason abortion is a deeply contentious issue is that two lives are involved? Even the Supreme Court has admitted this over the years, which is why it did not put abortion in the category of a “fundamental right.” 
But for the Democrat Party, it’s just one-sided. It’s a woman’s reproductive freedom that matters. No need to consider the rights of the baby. 
It’s easy to win a debate by just eliminating one whole side of the argument. That’s not a debate at all; it’s self-serving propaganda, and in this case, propaganda that has flesh and blood victims.

This week’s Democratic National Convention (<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/democratic-national-convention" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DNC</a>) in Chicago featured a resounding theme: abortion-on-demand. 
A Planned Parenthood “mobile health clinic” was parked outside the convention, with staff members performing one abortion after another. Also, amidst pro-Palestinian protestors and the sea of convention goers, abortion activists parade around dressed in abortion pill costumes.
<a href="https://nypost.com/2024/08/19/us-news/planned-parenthood-offers-free-vasectomies-abortions-in-truck-outside-dnc/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to the New York Post</a>, “Outside the van was a food truck, as well as a stand run by the Chicago Abortion Fund where patients could pick up goodie bags filled with face masks, candy, painkillers and cards of affirmation.” Organizers said it was all part of an effort to promote “reproductive healthcare accessibility.”
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson <a href="https://x.com/SpeakerJohnson/status/1825595249642844509" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted on X</a>: “This is not your parents’ Democratic Party.” Johnson is correct.

From inside the DNC, speaker after speaker declared the Democratic Party’s pro-choice commitment, which unfailingly brought about wild cheers from those in attendance.
Once espousing making abortion rare, <a href="https://time.com/7012534/read-hillary-clinton-2024-dnc-speech-full-transcript/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hillary Clinton’s message</a> on the first night of the convention urged attendees to “keep going” in the fight for “reproductive healthcare,” which has come to mean no restrictions whatsoever on abortion. Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe and Jill, <a href="https://www.google.com/search?q=ashley+biden,+dnc+speech+t&amp;client=firefox-b-1-d&amp;sca_esv=ac285bda2199cac9&amp;sca_upv=1&amp;tbm=vid&amp;source=lnms&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjordGJsIeIAxUlDzQIHYzXBLUQ0pQJegQIBhAG&amp;biw=1278&amp;bih=877&amp;dpr=2#fpstate=ive&amp;vld=cid:2bddfbd6,vid:gpwcb-o27w0,st:0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">declared</a>, “This is the fight of our lifetime: our freedom, our democracy, our reproductive rights. This, all of this, is on the ballot.” The night ended with <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/now/video/watch-president-biden-s-full-remarks-at-dnc-217506373669" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden’s speech</a>, which included, “You know, Kamala and Tim will do everything they possibly can — that is why you have to elect the Senate and the House — to restore Roe v. Wade.”
Night two wasn’t much different, as former First Lady <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z832P-efBaM" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michelle Obama warned</a> that Donald Trump would cut healthcare and take away “the freedom to control our bodies.”
Night three included <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArmhreqR2AI" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nancy Pelosi commending</a> Democratic Party presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ policy of “fighting for a woman’s right to choose.” Later in the evening, when vice presidential nominee Tim Walz took his turn on the stage, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArmhreqR2AI" target="_blank" rel="noopener">he fumed</a> that if his opponents get elected they “will ban abortion across this country, with or without Congress.”
Clearly, the Democratic Party is all about the right to choose — to be clear, to choose an abortion that ends the life of an unborn child.
However, when it comes to the right for parents to choose a K-12 education for a child, that is not a freedom the party’s leaders care about — even those who attended a private school themselves or sent their children to a private school.
And it’s not just that they’re not enthusiastic about school choice. Beholden to teachers unions, whose primary objective is to protect union jobs, Democratic Party politicians often do everything in their power to block Americans from the right to choose a school for their children. This even includes preventing families from choosing a different public school within their school district or a neighboring school district. The quality of the education, the safety of students, or the ability of the school to meet the learner’s unique needs are irrelevant. In short, the option to choose a school isn’t considered a right by leaders of the “pro-choice” party.
Of course, this flies in the face of what <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwLmOI6r_XY" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Barack Obama declared</a> in his nightcap speech on day two of the DNC about the Democratic Party having “a broader idea of freedom” than their political opponents. How can a broader view of freedom include requiring parents to send their children to a failing government-run school for their 13 years of education? How can a broader view of freedom determine that parents can’t be trusted to select the best learning environment for their children? Evidently, the broader idea of freedom is limited to a woman’s choosing to end her child’s life up to the moment of birth.
The contrast with the <a href="https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/2024-republican-party-platform" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2024 Republican Party Platform</a>, released in July, is stark: “Republicans believe families should be empowered to choose the best education for their children. We support Universal School Choice in every State in America. We will expand 529 Education Savings Accounts and support Homeschooling Families equally.” 
The <a href="https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/2024-republican-party-platform" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commitment</a> to “restore Parental Rights in Education” isn’t just hyperbole. Republican governors and state level elected officials have proven over the past four years their commitment to allowing parents the right to choose the education for their children. 
The COVID response provided a powerful illustration of the difference between the two approaches. Teachers’ unions, in lockstep with Democratic Party leaders, kept public schools closed in some states spanning three school years in order to push irrelevant political demands. Conversely, Republican political leaders listened to parents’ concerns and took steps to advance school choice more than at any time prior in history.
While no states had anywhere close to universal school choice prior to the COVID school closures, today 12 states have enacted universal school choice, allowing all families statewide to choose the education that will best serve their children. Each of those universal school choice laws went into effect in states that at the time had a Republican governor, a Republican majority in the House, and a Republican majority in the Senate (other than North Carolina, where the Republican majority House and Republican majority Senate were able to override the Democratic governor’s veto).
It’s time for all states to recognize parents have the right to choose their children’s education. The two major political parties have made their priorities on “choice” very clear. The choice now is yours as a voter. What kind of right to choose will you choose?
