The Defense Secretary and the Secretary of State made a bit of a scene when they publicly disagreed on what to do in Afghanistan.

The SecState declared that the Islamic terrorist group al Qaeda had been “destroyed” in Afghanistan and that the country was no longer a haven for terrorists. But the DefSec countered, saying “there are still any number of al-Qaida loose in that country. That is why we are there, that is why we are chasing them, that is why we are bombing.”
