Kim Kardashian‘s boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, opened up about trying to be as “good of a dude” as possible because his dream is to have a kid and be a father.
In a clip posted Tuesday from an upcoming episode of Kevin Hart’s show “Hart to Heart,” the 28-year-old former “Saturday Night Live” star talked about his childhood, which he described as “not great” after his father died when he was young. Davidson’s dad was a New York City firefighter who died at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
“Dad passed early. Single mom. New sister,” Davidson shared. “Just did not handle it great. It was just like a f***ing nightmare.”
The former SNL star has been dating the 41-year-old reality star following her split from her ex-husband Kanye West.
“My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid,” Davidson told Hart. “That’s like my dream. It’s like, super corny.”
The host told him it wasn’t and said being a father is “the best godd*** thing you could do in life.”

“It would be so fun. Dress up the little dude,” Davidson explained. “I’m so excited for like that chapter. That’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude, develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier.”
In February 2021, Kardashian filed for divorce from West after nearly seven years together. Kardashian and Davidson were rumored to be spending time together as far back as October 2021. Kardashian’s divorce became official in November and finally, she confirmed her new relationship in March 2022. The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star and West share four kids.
On Monday, the trailer for the second season of “The Kardashians” dropped, and in it, we see Davidson and the reality star together after he was basically non-existent in the first season of the Hulu reality show.
In the trailer, Kardashian asks Davidson, “Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?” He is then seen dropping everything and running off after her.
