<p>Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took a shot at President Joe Biden this week over the White House&#8217;s inability or unwillingness to disclose who brought cocaine into the complex earlier this month.</p>
<p>On an episode of his &#8220;Verdict&#8221; podcast, Cruz said that the reason that the Biden White House is trying to say that they can&#8217;t figure out whose cocaine it was is because &#8220;any answer to that question is politically damaging.&#8221;</p>
<p>Cruz used one of Biden&#8217;s favorite terms, saying that everything the White House has been saying on the matter is &#8220;malarkey!&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;You know, I don&#8217;t know if Corn Pop was a cocaine dealer,&#8221; Cruz said, mocking Biden as the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/there-really-was-a-corn-pop--but-critics-cast-doubt-on-joe-bidens-oft-told-story/2019/09/16/227115c8-d8ac-11e9-ac63-3016711543fe_story.html">supposed</a> gang leader Biden claims he confronted while he was a lifeguard growing up. &#8220;But let me make a serious point: we are just a few days out from a bag of cocaine being found in the West Wing of the White House, and the corporate media has altogether dropped the story. Doesn&#8217;t exist anymore.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Can you imagine how the corporate media would have lost their mind if a bag of cocaine were found in the Trump White House?&#8221; Cruz continued. &#8220;Like we would have had every night around the clock coverage. And by the way, the claim from the White House, ‘Uh, we don&#8217;t know who did it.’ Look, the White House has records of every person who enters the building.&#8221;</p>
<p>Cruz noted that officials at the White House know when every person enters the building, where they entered, where they are at in the building, and when and where they exit the facility.</p>
<p>&#8220;There are Secret Service agents everywhere! There are cameras. And yet, the reason that the Biden White House wants to tell us that they can&#8217;t figure out who&#8217;s cocaine it is, is because any answer to that question is politically damaging,&#8221; he concluded. &#8220;And this administration&#8217;s approach is: to hell with the rule of law. It&#8217;s politics, politics, all politics all the time.&#8221;</p>
