Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith and more importantly, father of Liv Tyler, just told the Trump campaign to stop using his iconic rock song “Dream On” at event rallies.
The Aerosmith frontman’s attorneys followed up with their second cease and desist order on Saturday, stating that The Donald does: “not have our client’s permission to use ‘Dream On'” or any of Tyler’s other songs” and that it “gives the false impression that he is connected with or endorses Mr. Trump’s presidential bid.”
Though Tyler is a registered Republican and attended the first GOP debate, his attorney continued that “the letter is not a “political” or “personal issue with Mr. Trump,” but it’s one of permission and copyright.”
