A porn star was found dead in her California apartment this week of an apparent drug overdose, according to multiple reports.

Yuri Luv, 31, whose real name is Yurizan Beltran, was found dead by the owner of a residence in Bellflower, California, the Daily Mail reported.

Former colleague Nickey Milo said that pills were found near her bed in what different news outlets are calling a drug overdose.

Dan Hogue, director of business development for PornStar Platinum, said in a statement to Xbiz that the organization was in mourning over her death. “Yuri was found today at the age of 31. She was always kind to me and we will miss her,” he said.

Beltran’s death comes just days after 23-year-old porn star August Ames was found dead in what investigators believe was a suicide after she was bullied for being a “homophobe” after she refused to have sex with men who did gay porn scenes:

Ames responded to the harsh criticism she received by explaining that she was simply looking out for her safety.

“NOT homophobic,” she wrote. “Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety. That’s just how it is with me. I’m not putting my body at risk, [I] don’t know what they do in their private lives.”
