A leaked photograph that reportedly shows the inside of the Las Vegas shooter’s hotel room appears to show a note on a small table near Stephen Paddock’s body.
Paddock, 64, is the shooter in the most horrific shooting in United States history that left 59 people dead and over 500 injured.
The Daily Mail featured the leaked images in a report on Tuesday that show the shooter on the floor after he reportedly committed suicide in which several firearms can be seen near his body.
A careful review of the one of the photos shows what appears to be a piece of paper, possibly a note, next to where the suspect supposedly killed himself.

“The alleged gunman appears to be wearing a brown shirt, black slacks, loafers and a pair of gloves,” the Daily Star noted. “Chillingly, he appears to have left some kind of note on the side table.”
Investigators still have not established a possible motive for the shooting, as Paddock reportedly had no criminal record, however his behavior in the days leading up to the shooting may provide insight:
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Paddock wired $100,000 to an account in this girlfriend Marilou Danley’s native Philippines sometime in the week before the attack, according to NBC News. Danley, 62, was in the Philippines when Paddock carried out the attack, but it’s unclear if the money was intended for her. She is now en route back to the U.S., to speak with authorities. Sheriff Lombardo called her a person of interest in a Tuesday press conference.
NBC News reported that Paddock gambled $20,000 – $30,000 on multiple occasions in the days leading up to the attack. It is not clear whether those transactions were wins or losses.
