“Real Housewives of New York” star Jill Zarin slammed Hollywood’s response to the Israeli hostages and said she can’t “understand it,” as dozens are still being held <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hostages" target="_blank" rel="noopener">captive</a> nearly 500 days after the Hamas terrorist attack in October 2023.
Speaking to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/real-housewives-star-jill-zarin-slams-hollywood-stance-israel-blows-my-mind">Fox News</a>, the 61-year-old reality star and friend of President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> reflected on Trump’s second inauguration, and said it “wasn&#8217;t a Hollywood scene, for sure.”
&#8220;It was definitely big business in the house,” Zarin said. “And that&#8217;s OK. I&#8217;m sorry that Hollywood can&#8217;t even get behind getting the hostages home. I just don&#8217;t understand it. They&#8217;re not wearing a yellow ribbon, but when there were other things in the world, you know, hashtag … Michelle Obama, hashtag, get the girls home.”

The reality star said she doesn’t agree “100% with anybody’s policies” and that she probably doesn’t even “agree with things” she thought were good a few years ago.
“What I thought was good five years ago, I don&#8217;t agree with Jill five years ago,” Zarin said. “I definitely don&#8217;t agree with me 20 years ago. I&#8217;ve gotten a little more conservative as I&#8217;ve aged. I&#8217;m not going to lie because I&#8217;ve learned a lot. I&#8217;ve seen a lot.&#8221;
The comments come following the release of the first three hostages under Israel and Hamas’ hostage and ceasefire deal. Three Israeli women &#8212; Romi Gonen, Doron Steinbrecher, and Emily Damari &#8212; arrived home on Sunday safely after 471 days in captivity, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-3-israeli-hostages-freed-after-nearly-500-days">reported</a>.
