<p>White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said during a press briefing on Monday that it was false and &#8220;irresponsible&#8221; to say that Americans have been &#8220;stranded&#8221; in Afghanistan, even as thousands of Americans reportedly remain trapped in the country that is now controlled by Taliban extremists.</p>
<p>&#8220;Does the president have a sense that most of the criticism is not of leaving Afghanistan, it&#8217;s the way that he has ordered it to happen by pulling the troops before getting these Americans, who are now stranded?&#8221; Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked. &#8220;Does he have a sense of that?&#8221;</p>
