<p>A new <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/polls">poll</a> indicates that 95% of registered American voters believe that inflation is a &#8220;somewhat serious&#8221; or &#8220;very serious&#8221; issue.</p>
<p>Harvard CAPS/Harris <a href="https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/HHP_May2022_KeyResults.pdf">conducted</a> a poll of nearly 2,000 registered voters from May 18-19, asking a series of questions relating to President Joe Biden and the nation.</p>
<p>When asked, &#8220;Overall, how serious of an issue do you think inflation is for the country right now?&#8221; 27% of voters said &#8220;somewhat serious&#8221; and 68% of voters said &#8220;very serious.&#8221;</p>
<p>Likewise, a plurality of voters, 47%, said that the Biden administration is to blame for inflation. Despite Biden&#8217;s repeated attempts to label the high costs of goods and energy as the “Putin Price Hike,” just 25% of registered voters said that Russian President Vladimir Putin &#8220;is primarily to blame for the surge in inflation.&#8221;</p>
<p>That same poll <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/poll-majority-of-american-voters-have-doubts-about-bidens-fitness-for-office-believe-hes-showing-hes-too-old-to-be-president">found</a> that the majority believe that Biden is mentally unfit for office and is showing signs that he is too old for the job.</p>
<p>When asked, &#8220;Is Joe Biden mentally fit to serve as President of the United States or do you have doubts about his fitness for office?&#8221; 53% of respondents answered, &#8220;I have doubts about his fitness.&#8221; Broken down along party lines, 19% of Democrats responded accordingly, as did 83% of Republicans, and a whopping 61% of Independents answered the same.</p>
<p>The poll also asked, &#8220;Do you think Joe Biden is showing he is too old to be President or do you think he is showing he is fit to be president?&#8221; Sixty-two percent responded that he is &#8220;showing he is too old.&#8221; Thirty-eight percent of respondents said that he is &#8220;showing he is fit to be president.&#8221;</p>
<p>The Daily Wire <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/poll-finds-most-americans-describe-bidens-actions-as-incompetent-and-distracted">reported</a> on Monday that a recent CBS poll also showed that 44% of Americans approve of the job Biden is doing as president. Furthermore, a look at the descriptions Americans provided for Biden may explain why the majority of people, or 56%, disapprove of Biden’s job performance.</p>
<p>The CBS poll was conducted May 18-20 and featured a nationally representative sample of 2,041 Americans.</p>
<p>CBS asked respondents to state whether or not certain words would “describe” or “not describe” Biden’s “actions as President so far.” While 53% of Americans said that the term “divisive” does not describe the president’s actions, 62% of Americans also said that the word “unifying” would not be an accurate description either.</p>
<p>Likewise, 62% of Americans said the word “effective” does not apply, while 57% of Americans said the word “distracted” describes Biden’s actions.</p>
<p>The Harvard CAPS/Harris poll was conducted by Mark Penn, chairman of The Harris Poll; Dritan Nesho, CEO of HarrisX; and Stephen Ansolabehere, a professor and CAPS Director Emeritus at Harvard University.</p>
