<p>A new <a href="http://www.latimes.com/politics/washington/la-na-essential-washington-updates-roughly-one-in-four-americans-say-1502815844-htmlstory.html">poll</a> released by Monmouth University in New Jersey found that 60% of Trump supporters would continue supporting the president no matter what. Overall, that&#8217;s equivalent to about 1 in 4 Americans.</p>
<p>When asked if they could &#8220;think of anything that Trump could do, or fail to do, in his term as president that would make you disapprove of the job he is doing,&#8221; the majority of poll respondents <a href="http://www.latimes.com/politics/washington/la-na-essential-washington-updates-roughly-one-in-four-americans-say-1502815844-htmlstory.html">said</a> no, lending credence to Trump&#8217;s own campaign <a href="http://www.latimes.com/politics/washington/la-na-essential-washington-updates-roughly-one-in-four-americans-say-1502815844-htmlstory.html">pronouncement</a> that he could &#8220;stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and [he] wouldn&#8217;t lose voters.&#8221;</p>
