Illegal Immigrant Urinating In Public Repeatedly Stabs Man Who Objected, Police Say

An illegal alien caught urinating in public violently attacked a man with a box cutter after the man told him that he needed to use a bathroom, police say.

Authorities in Montgomery County, Maryland, an official sanctuary county, revealed on Tuesday that 46-year-old Salvador Gomez-Lopez, who repeatedly stabbed a man’s “neck, face, and stomach” late last year, is an illegal alien. WJLA-TV reports:

On Nov. 30, around 11 p.m., Montgomery County Police were dispatched to the Wheaton Metro bus turnaround along Georgia Avenue. Upon stepping out of their cruisers, officers saw a man with stab wounds and bloody slashes to his neck, face and stomach.

That victim, plus an uninjured eyewitness, pointed officers toward Salvador Gomez-Lopez, 46, who was allegedly drunk and belligerent. The two men explained that Gomez-Lopez was relieving himself in plain view of fellow bus passengers. When the victim questioned his actions, Gomez-Lopez reportedly reached into his backpack and grabbed hold of a razor-sharp box cutter.

A spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told Fox News that “Gomez-Lopez was in the U.S. illegally from El Salvador,” a Central American country overrun with violent street gangs, including MS-13. In addition to lodging a detainer against Gomez-Lopez, ICE revealed to Fox News that Gomez-Lopez is also a fugitive.

WJLA-TV further notes that police claim that Gomez-Lopez “was ‘uncooperative,’ provided them with a fake name during questioning.”
