According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), only a minuscule percentage of Americans who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 have contracted the disease.
CNN reported that the CDC informed them that roughly 5,800 people who have been vaccinated against coronavirus have become infected after being vaccinated. Yet, as the Daily Mail pointed out, the percentage of those who have been vaccinated and gone on to contract the virus is a fraction of a percent:
