Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was caught partying at a densely packed bar in Miami over the weekend without a mask as the state she represents grapples with a devastatingly high number of coronavirus cases.
&#8220;The New York congresswoman who has been in Miami since before the new year, appeared to be continuing her vacation in the Sunshine State at a packed drag bar event in the city,&#8221; The Daily Mail <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10363679/AOC-spotted-partying-maskless-crowded-drag-bar-Miami-vacation.html?ito=social-twitter_mailonline">reported</a>. &#8220;In a short clip posted to social media, Ocasio-Cortez could be seen waving to other bargoers to cheers and applause while being introduced on stage by the MC of the &#8216;drag brunch&#8217; event.&#8221;

The news was first reported by Florida&#8217;s Conservative Voice. The group&#8217;s founder, Brendon Leslie, tweeted: &#8220;EXPOSED: AOC is STILL lounging it up in Florida, in large crowds and maskless. This time at a Drag Queen bar in Miami. Rules for thee but not for me.&#8221;
&#8220;For those of you with zero sense of humor: the whole point of this post is to expose hypocrisy,&#8221; Leslie continued. &#8220;We don’t actually care she’s maskless. We care she fear mongers about Florida but then has the audacity to vacation here.&#8221;
Ocasio-Cortez lashed out at critics on Friday after she was caught hanging out in Miami, Florida, with her boyfriend.
National Review <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/news/aoc-spotted-in-miami-beach-as-nyc-reports-record-covid-cases/">reported</a> that, according to photographs obtained by the publication, Ocasio-Cortez was “seated outside Doraku Sushi and Izakaya in Miami Beach Thursday afternoon, raising a cocktail in one hand and checking her phone in another.”
Ocasio-Cortez’s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ocasio-cortez-blasted-after-being-caught-in-miami-beach-as-nyc-sets-pandemic-record-aoc-loves-desantis">decision</a> to hang out in the red state of Florida amid the historic number of coronavirus cases in the city that she represents comes after she repeatedly attacked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for briefly going to Cancun, Mexico, last year as the state of Texas dealt with a storm crisis.
“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” Ocasio-Cortez responded to one of the critics calling her out. “Ya creepy weirdos.”
“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,&amp; LGBT+ people in general,” AOC continued. “These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”

Ocasio-Cortez also lashed out at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ campaign, which tweeted at her.
“Welcome to Florida, AOC!” DeSantis’ campaign said. “We hope you’re enjoying a taste of freedom here in the Sunshine State thanks to @RonDeSantisFL’s leadership.”
Ocasio-Cortez responded by suggesting without evidence that DeSantis had “been inexplicably missing for like 2 weeks,” before saying that she wanted to “help with local organizing” in Florida.
