<p>Former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/barack-obama" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Barack Obama</a> whitewashed the Islamic terrorist attack that Hamas committed against Israel last month where terrorists murdered 1,400 Israelis, wounded 5,300, and kidnapped more than 240 people.</p>
<p>Obama made the remarks during an appearance on the leftist podcast &#8220;Pod Save America&#8221; late this week, according to a preview clip released by the podcast.</p>
<p>He said that the only way to act constructively to achieve some sort of results for peace between Israel and the Palestinians was to admit that the situation was complex and &#8220;maintaining what on the surface may seem contradictory ideas, that what Hamas did was horrific, and there&#8217;s no justification for it.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And what is also true is that the occupation, and what&#8217;s happening to Palestinians is unbearable,&#8221; Obama claimed, even though Israel has been out of Gaza for many years prior to the October 7 massacre. &#8220;And what is also true is that there is a history of the Jewish people that may be dismissed unless your grandparents or your great grandparents, or your uncle or your aunt tell you stories about the madness of anti-Semitism.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And what is true is that there are people right now who are dying, who have nothing to do with what Hamas did,&#8221; he said in an attempt to demonize Israel without noting that Hamas uses Palestinian civilians as human shields.</p>
<p>&#8220;And the problem with the social media and trying TikTok activism and trying to debate this on that, is you can&#8217;t speak the truth. You can pretend to speak the truth, you can speak one side of the truth,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And in some cases, you can try to maintain your moral innocence. But that won&#8217;t solve the problem. And so, if you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth.&#8221;</p>
<p>Obama then whitewashed the terrorism that Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups inflict on Israel by saying that everyone was going to have to &#8220;admit&#8221; that &#8220;nobody&#8217;s hands are clean, that all of us are complicit to some degree.&#8221;</p>
<p>He said that people were going to have to &#8220;speak to somebody on the other side and listen to them and understand what they are talking about&#8221; in order to save children from being killed.</p>
