Rep. Brandon Williams (R-NY) delivered a silent message to anti-Israel protesters who swarmed the lower rotunda of the Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, standing above them and waving an Israeli flag.
The protesters gathered to call for an immediate ceasefire in Israel and Gaza — just days after a series of horrific attacks were perpetrated against Israel by Hamas terrorists. In those attacks, over 1,300 Israelis were killed and thousands more were injured — most were civilians, and some were women, children, and even babies.
Williams, himself a veteran of the U.S. Navy, shared a short video on X, showing the chaotic protest in the rotunda below as he took up an Israeli flag and positioned himself where they could see him.

The protesters were joined outside by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who repeated the false claim that Israeli forces were responsible for the blast that reportedly killed hundreds at a Gaza hospital — a blast that both American and Israeli intelligence services have determined came from inside Gaza and fell short of its likely intended target: Israel.
“That’s what’s been really painful … continue to watch people think it’s okay to bomb a hospital where children [are],” she claimed, screaming and crying as she continued. “You know what’s so hard sometimes, it’s watching those videos and the people telling the kids don’t cry, and like let them cry! And they’re shaking and they kept telling them not to cry in Arabic! They can cry, I can cry, we all can cry. If we’re not crying, something is wrong.”

“And so I’m telling you right now, President Biden, not all Americans [are] with you on this one. And you need to wake up and understand that. We are literally watching people commit your genocide and killing the vast majority just like this, and we still stand by and say nothing. We will remember this,” she warned.
