<p style="font-weight: 400;">Iran is confronting an escalating environmental crisis so severe that President Masoud Pezeshkian has announced the country must <a href="https://www.iranintl.com/en/202511209098">move its capital,</a> declaring that the regime “no longer has a choice.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Tehran, once the political and demographic heart of Iran, is now overwhelmed by water depletion, collapsing land, and infrastructural strain. Pezeshkian warned that parts of the capital are sinking by up to 30 centimeters a year, calling it a “catastrophe” driven by decades of mismanagement, overbuilding in upstream regions, and disrupted downstream flows. With water resources no longer matching demand, he argued that continued population or construction growth in Tehran is impossible and that remaining in place means “signing our own destruction.”</p>

Nevertheless, Pezeshkian said Iran has reached the point where relocation has become “an obligation.”</p>

The country also recycles nearly 90% of its wastewater — the highest rate in the world —largely supporting agriculture and preserving natural freshwater sources. Israeli-developed drip irrigation technology allows precise water delivery and enables high crop yields even in arid zones, while a centralized national water grid efficiently moves water to where it is needed, stabilizing supplies in dry years.</p>

<p>CNN data guru Harry Enten said on Wednesday that President Donald Trump was blowing his competition out of the water — both Republicans and Democrats — when it came to his approval rating with regard to foreign policy.</p>
<p>Enten spoke with CNN anchor John Berman about the latest numbers, which show Trump, nearly ten months into his second term, has a 43% approval rating on his foreign policy positions. Berman asked for context, wondering how Trump stacked up against past presidents in their respective second terms.</p>

<p>Berman noted that it was almost expected for presidents in their second terms to pivot to foreign policy and do whatever they can to cement their legacies before leaving office — and he asked Enten how Trump stacked up in that regard.</p>

<p>Enten showed a graphic comparing Trump to the two other 21st-century presidents who served two terms — George W. Bush and Barack Obama — who had foreign policy approval ratings of 36% and 37% respectively, at the same point in their second terms.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is something I think Donald Trump really likes to look at because the bottom line is this presidents like to build their legacies off of foreign policy, and at this particular point the American people like much more of what Donald Trump’s doing on foreign policy than either of the two other twenty-first century presidents who serve at least — or served two terms,&#8221; Enten explained.</p>
<p>Berman asked whether Trump&#8217;s high marks on that particular issue had anything to do with how he&#8217;d responded to the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorists controlling Gaza, and Enten said it had likely been a major factor.</p>
<p>&#8220;The American people liked what Trump was able to do between the Israelis and Hamas,&#8221; he said — and pointed to Trump&#8217;s net approval on the Israel-Hamas conflict (+3) compared to former President Joe Biden&#8217;s (-37). &#8220;Joe Biden was 37 points below water by the end of his presidency.&#8221;</p>

<p>WASHINGTON—Alexis Wilkins is a conservative country music artist whose boyfriend, Kash Patel, is the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. When the two began dating three years ago, they became a kind of conservative celebrity couple. But Wilkins never imagined that she would soon star in the internet&#8217;s pet conspiracy theory — one that would drown her and her family in a deluge of threats.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;I&#8217;ve been in the political sphere for a second,&#8221; she explained in a phone interview with The Daily Wire. &#8220;You get crazy things from the left, you&#8217;re kind of used to it if you&#8217;re speaking up about things that you believe in or talking positively about America. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">I kind of thought that [direction] would be where this would continue, just maybe more dramatic, but what&#8217;s happened is&#8230;the internet has just become a place where you can just say whatever you want and affect people&#8217;s lives, and it really reverberates.</span></p>
<p>Internet users and commentators have accused 27-year-old Wilkins of being an Israeli spy, a &#8220;honeypot&#8221; Mossad agent, assigned to manipulate her 45-year-old boyfriend as he leads the FBI. Wilkins, who is Christian, has repeatedly denied the claims, which she calls absurd.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;There&#8217;s security issues, there&#8217;s safety issues, the death threats are graphic, and, there are a lot of them,&#8221; she added. &#8220;You have to think about your house getting swatted, you deal with stuff where people are trying to harm you. T</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">hat is the intent, and that&#8217;s been very real, very quickly for me in the last couple of months.&#8221; </span></p>
<p>Their relationship, ages, and personal lives have been scrutinized publicly, as has Patel&#8217;s use of the FBI director&#8217;s plane for personal trips to see Wilkins (as FBI director, Patel cannot fly commercial and must use the plane for legitimate and needed purposes, but his <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/kash-patel-jet-tracker-fbi-director-alexis-wilkins-10980941">recent trip to Nashville</a> drew heavy criticism).</p>
<p>A source close to the couple told The Daily Wire that Patel &#8220;knew Alexis was the one as soon as he met her,&#8221; and that she recently moved in with him in Washington, D.C., but spends time in Nashville with her family. They will likely be engaged and married soon, that source shared.</p>
<p>In the meantime, the country music artist is grappling with the consequences of viral internet rumors.</p>
<p>An FBI spokesperson confirmed to The Daily Wire that Wilkins has received &#8220;hundreds of credible threats.&#8221; Wilkins now has a security detail, that spokesperson confirmed, based on security assessments of credible threats conducted due to her connection with Patel.</p>
<p>One concern, based on some of the threats, is that Wilkins might be kidnapped.</p>
<p>&#8220;She&#8217;s not getting threatened to be kidnapped by cartels because they think she&#8217;s cute,&#8221; a source close to Wilkins shared. &#8220;It&#8217;s because she&#8217;s a good hostage candidate.&#8221;</p>

<p>Wilkins receives threatening messages almost daily on social media. The Daily Wire reviewed a number of these messages and posts, showing individuals fantasizing about killing her, graphically describing acts of sexual violence, promising to kill her within specific time frames, posting her address, phone number, and those of Patel and her parents online, and more.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t feel very comfortable going in public,&#8221; she shared, asked how this affects her daily life. &#8220;I don&#8217;t leave my house a lot.&#8221;</p>
<p>Less explicit but still threatening rhetoric is also publicly visible on Wilkins&#8217; social media posts as well. For example, one commenter posted on an Instagram post of Wilkins and Patel at his swearing in: &#8220;I hope these two don&#8217;t plan on going out in public. Or having a public speaking event in an amphitheater.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;People know what to say,&#8221; she said, discussing the messages she shared with The Daily Wire. &#8220;These are not just hyperbolic threats, these are credible threats that [mention] things about you going in public together, things about you doing a public speaking engagement, things about you doing a concert outside&#8230;They want you to stop living your life. They want you to be afraid.&#8221;</p>
<p>About two weeks ago, Wilkins shared, her parents&#8217; home was swatted. This means that someone called in a false emergency at their home with the goal of prompting a massive law enforcement response. Swatting is particularly dangerous since victims may find themselves in violent or dangerous situations, depending how they respond to the law enforcement presence, since a SWAT team <a href="https://www.thefederalcriminalattorneys.com/swatting-crime">might be responding to what has been described</a> to them as an imminent threat, a bomb situation, or domestic violence.</p>
<p>Wilkins and her family now have to talk through security protocols that have never occurred to them, planning out how to respond when, for example, someone calls the house demanding to know if Wilkins herself is present — a sign that a swatting may be imminent.</p>
<p>&#8220;Swatting doesn&#8217;t only affect your house, you have to realize that people are also looking for your family, especially when it&#8217;s an allegation that is so untrue&#8230;you&#8217;re getting called a spy, so people are digging into your history, people are trying to find your parents, people are calling people that you&#8217;ve known,&#8221; Wilkins said. &#8220;Colleagues of mine have received calls asking for information about my family, some of them unaware of how to respond and will give a name or give my mom&#8217;s maiden name or give things that are helpful in order to find us.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;So it hasn&#8217;t just been me,&#8221; she said. &#8220;It&#8217;s been my family as well.&#8221;</p>

<p>Wilkins has continued to attend speaking or singing engagements with organizations like Turning Point USA and the Young America&#8217;s Foundation. She is suing a number of political influencers and commentators for suggesting she is an agent of Israeli intelligence. And she says she is determined not to cower but to stand up for herself, arguing that &#8220;bullies respond to strength.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m so happy to support the person that I love, but I&#8217;m not the director of the FBI,&#8221; Wilkins said. &#8220;I&#8217;m here to support, and my parents are also&#8230;but ultimately, this is not something that they signed up for, and I think people forget that when they&#8217;re digging for what they think is the truth, they&#8217;re doing it in a way that is not helpful, and it&#8217;s very dangerous.&#8221;</p>
<p>Reflecting on the death of Charlie Kirk, who she knew through her work with TPUSA — at whose events she often sings the national anthem — Wilkins pointed out how massively important Kirk&#8217;s faith was to him, and how he talked about how he wanted to be remembered for his faith.</p>
<p>She is very proud of her own Christian faith. Yet now, she is &#8220;being called something that I&#8217;m not, a spy for another country, essentially accusing me of treason, which is horrific enough, but I&#8217;m a Christian.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I grew up Armenian. My family&#8217;s Armenian,&#8221; she explained. &#8220;I grew up Christian and I&#8217;m very proud of that.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;His legacy of his faith and the things that he represented, I think that it obviously is a huge void that we all feel now, because of who he was personally and who he was in the movement,&#8221; she reflected, sharing how the day after Kirk&#8217;s assassination, she had to come to terms with the fact that Patel would be speaking at an outdoor event, and she could do nothing but wait to hear that he was ok.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s that horrible feeling,&#8221; she said. &#8220;How radicalized do people become? Is this a chain of events? There&#8217;s no way to make yourself feel better about it.&#8221;</p>
<p>She has considered ignoring much of the criticism and threats. But, she says, she wants to be a &#8220;role model for people who are being attacked, for even just their views, no matter what side they are on.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I think that everyone should have the right to say what they want to say,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I love the Constitution. I love the First Amendment in this country.&#8221;</p>
<p>And asked what she would tell the internet folk who are posting about her, she responded: &#8220;If it feels fun behind your keyboard to hate someone, your heart is probably in the wrong place and you also probably have some details wrong.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Before you run with what sounds like the most fun, horrifying and cliquey conspiracy theory, there&#8217;s probably a more common sense result, a more common sense answer.&#8221;</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Two weeks before the UN report, the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI) issued their report, which <a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-790204">stated</a> of the multiple rapes, “In most of these incidents, victims first subjected to rape were then killed, and at least two incidents relate to the rape of women’s corpses.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“<a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-790390">Last year in March</a>, Alsalem also denied knowing Israel had been a victim of repeated missile attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah as the terrorist groups launched air barrages on civilian communities across Israel,” the Jerusalem Post <a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-873910">noted</a>.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">President Donald Trump urged Israeli President Isaac Herzog to pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, saying that it would unite the country. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In a letter to Herzog, Trump said that he believes that the case against Netanyahu is politically motivated and “unjustified.” Netanyahu has been charged with bribery, fraud, and breach of trust in three different cases, accusations he has strongly denied. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trump said that a pardon for Netanyahu would help the country focus on maintaining peace in the region now that a ceasefire with Hamas has been agreed to. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“As the Great State of Israel and the amazing Jewish People move past the terribly difficult times of the last three years, I hereby call on you to fully pardon Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been a formidable decisive War Time Prime Minister, and is now leading Israel into a time of peace, which includes my continued work with key Middle East leaders to add many additional countries to the world changing Abraham Accords.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trump also said that the case against Netanyahu was without merit. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Prime Minister Netanyahu has stood tall for Israel in the face of strong adversaries and long odds, and his attention cannot be unnecessarily diverted,” Trump wrote. “While I absolutely respect the independence of the Israeli Justice System, and its requirements, I believe that this ‘case’ against Bibi, who has fought alongside me for a long time, including against the very tough adversary of Israel, Iran, is a political, unjustified prosecution.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“It is time to let Bibi unite Israel by pardoning him, and ending that lawfare once and for all,” Trump added. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Herzog’s office responded to Trump’s letter, thanking him for his support, and said that Netanyahu must request a pardon for it to be considered. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The President of Israel holds President Trump in high regard and continues to express his appreciation for Trump’s unwavering support for Israel and his major contributions to the release of hostages, reshaping the Middle East and Gaza, and safeguarding Israel’s security,” Herzog&#8217;s office said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;That said, as the president has repeatedly clarified, anyone seeking a pardon must submit a formal request in accordance with established procedures,” it added. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In a speech to Israel’s Knesset in October after brokering a ceasefire deal in Gaza, Trump called for Netanyahu to be pardoned and had previously called for the trial to be cancelled. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kazakhstan became the first nation to join the Abraham Accords during President Donald Trump’s second term on Thursday.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trump announced Kazakhstan’s entry into the agreement in a </span><a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115505478418176575"><span style="font-weight: 400;">post</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> on Truth Social on Thursday evening while hosting leaders from five Central Asian countries at the White House. The president said an official ceremony to mark Kazakhstan’s entry will take place at a later date.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I just held a great call between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of Israel, and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is the first Country of my Second Term to join the Abraham Accords, the first of many,” the president wrote.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“This is a major step forward in building bridges across the World. Today, more Nations are lining up to embrace Peace and Prosperity through my Abraham Accords,” he continued. “[T]here are many more Countries trying to join this club of STRENGTH. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kazakhstan’s entry into the accords would make it the first Central Asian country to join. Kazakhstan had earlier established diplomatic ties with Israel in 2020, also making ties with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, according to </span><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/06/us/politics/kazakhstan-abraham-accords.html"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The New York Times</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Aside from furthering the Abraham Accords, a top achievement of Trump’s first term, Thursday’s White House meeting also dealt with potential deals on critical minerals as the White House seeks to diversify its sources for the minerals outside of China.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tokayev said that a deal with the United States is nearing to develop his country’s deposits of tungsten, a critical mineral used in weapons manufacturing. The Kazakhstan president has appeared enthusiastic about U.S. investment in his country, noting that the Trump administration has “more pragmatism from a political point of view” than its predecessor, according to the Times.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I recently listened to the daughter of a Hamas sheikh share her story — one that serves as a warning for New York’s mayoral election. For her safety, I’m withholding her name. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Her mother was Jewish and escaped their Arab village in Israel soon after giving birth. Her father was a wealthy, devout Muslim sheikh with multiple wives. At 14, his daughter chose to live with him, hoping for family and belonging. Instead, what she found was indoctrination and abuse.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Her father woke her routinely in the middle of the night to test her on the Quran. Beatings were justified because, in the Quran, women are only capable of reaching heaven if the men around them are satisfied. At 15, he forced her to marry her 22-year-old cousin. She immediately became pregnant. At six months, her husband beat her in the street for stepping outside her home without permission. She lost the baby at his hands. Her father blamed her — and made her thank her husband for not killing her.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Her father was embedded in Yasser Arafat’s inner circle — the leader of the Palestinian Authority (PLO), and architect of the Second Intifada.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">The men around her spoke of Israel as a meal to devour “bite by bite” — relentless, incremental, unending. In conversations she overheard, the goal was never compromise. The hate was endless.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She escaped at 17. Homeless, terrified, and alone, when an Israeli social worker discovered her and soon discovered Judaism’s light: a faith rooted in justice, kindness, and human dignity. Today, she raises her children in freedom and dedicates her life to protecting girls from the same abuse she endured.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Her warning is simple: no matter what you give, negotiate, or attempt at nation-building, political Islam’s hate will never stop. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The ideology that brutalized her doesn’t stay overseas — it is finding its way into our American cities. Hamas wages physical war in Gaza, but its politics are being waged in local councils and mayoral races, where figures like Zohran Mamdani repurpose Hamas-style rhetoric of “resistance” and “liberation” under the banner of socialism.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I’ve seen it firsthand — radical doctrine pushed under the guise of progressive policy. Over the past two years, I helped apply pressure to block two BDS resolutions at the council level in Nashville, Tennessee. This isn’t theory — it’s unfolding through politics, education, and activist networks quietly advancing Islamist agendas to destabilize the West.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meanwhile, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has renewed efforts to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization — a network whose U.S. affiliates, including the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), hold the deeds to hundreds of mosques and Islamic centers across the United States. CAIR has documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, including being listed as a member of its Palestine Committee in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorism‑financing trial, and was named an unindicted co‑conspirator.</span></p>
<h3><strong>Political Symbols And Education:</strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anti-American and anti-Israel rhetoric are being woven into classrooms, books, and art — disguised as “diversity” or “multiculturalism.” This summer, a public school in downtown Nashville hosted “</span><a href="https://x.com/StopAntisemites/status/1966492472827101673"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Keffiyeh Day</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">,” celebrating a political symbol tied to Yasser Arafat and the Second Intifada. </span><a href="https://combatantisemitism.org/cam-news/virginia-high-school-students-glorify-violence-in-horrifying-mock-kidnapping-videos/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At Thomas Jefferson High School in Northern Virginia</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, students from the Muslim Student Association reenacted Hamas kidnappings in keffiyehs to promote their group. These are not isolated incidents — they reflect a broader ideological initiative.</span></p>
<h3><strong>The Socialist Cover For Islamist Ambition:</strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Words like justice, freedom, victim, oppressed, and occupation are being repurposed to advance extremism. Mamdani, who up until recently has refused to condemn chants to “globalize the Intifada” while promoting the anti-American and anti-Israel BDS movement, exposes how Islamist talking points are being mainstreamed through progressive politics. Under the banner of equity and oppression, Mamdani blurs the line between social justice and political Islam — turning compassion into a Trojan horse for division. His rhetoric mirrors the same moral inversion used by groups like Hamas and the BDS movement: recasting terrorists as victims, and democracies like America and Israel as oppressors. It’s not solidarity — it’s subversion.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The solution is not compromise — it’s clarity. If we elect leaders without Western values, we erase Western values.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just as the daughter of the Hamas sheikh found light after darkness, our communities must commit to deradicalization, education, and the moral courage to say a definitive “no.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The terror group Hamas returned what it said were three bodies of hostages to Israel on Sunday.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hamas militants gave the remains, which it said were the bodies of three Israeli soldiers, over to the Red Cross, which brought them into Israel. The prime minister’s office said that the remains would be taken to the Ministry of Health’s National Center for Forensic Medicine for identification.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“All of the hostages&#8217; families have been updated accordingly, and our hearts are with them in this difficult hour. The effort to return our hostages is ongoing and will not cease until the last hostage is returned,” the prime minister’s office </span><a href="https://x.com/IsraeliPM/status/1985061283482194380"><span style="font-weight: 400;">said</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in a statement. “The public is requested to respect the families&#8217; privacy and to refrain from spreading rumors and unofficial and unverified information.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The hostage release comes just days after the terror group claimed to have found the remains of three other hostages that it turned over to the Red Cross. Forensic testing conducted on the bodies confirmed that none of the remains belonged to any of the hostages remaining in Gaza, however.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hamas and Israel struck a ceasefire agreement last month in which Israel agreed to pull back forces from inner Gaza and Hamas agreed to turn over all of its hostages back to Israel, 20 living and 28 dead. While the living were returned, the terror group has returned just 16 of the dead. If the three bodies turned over on Sunday are confirmed, eight more will be left for Hamas to hand over.</span></p>
<p>Hamas has claimed that it needs time to find the bodies of hostages, which it has said have been buried in some cases below rubble. Drone footage <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/vance-provides-update-on-ceasefire-after-hamas-attack-in-gaza">released</a> last week showed Hamas militants burying remains that were soon dug up again and handed over to the Red Cross.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Israel has accused the terror group of being in breach of the ceasefire agreement for failing to return the hostages. Israel has also conducted strikes within Gaza twice since the ceasefire went into place in retaliation for attacks that have killed several Israeli soldiers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Trump administration, which mediated the ceasefire and potential peace proposal between Israel and Hamas, has tamped down concerns that the tit-for-tat strikes will threaten the ceasefire.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The president achieved a historic peace in the Middle East, the ceasefire is holding. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t going to be little skirmishes here and there,” Vice President JD Vance </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/vance-provides-update-on-ceasefire-after-hamas-attack-in-gaza"><span style="font-weight: 400;">said</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> last week. “We know that Hamas, or somebody else within Gaza, attacked an IDF soldier. We expect the Israelis are going to respond, but I think the president’s peace is going to hold despite it.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dozens of terrorists were killed in response to Hamas violations of a ceasefire negotiated by the Trump administration, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) said Wednesday. The strikes came after Israel accused Hamas of lying about the return of the remains of deceased hostages and attacking IDF troops in Rafah. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“In accordance with the directive of the political echelon, and following a series of strikes, in which dozens of terror targets and terrorists were struck, the IDF has begun the renewed enforcement of the ceasefire in response to Hamas’ violations,” the IDF said in a statement. “As part of the strikes, the IDF and ISA struck 30 terrorists holding command positions within the terrorist organizations operating in Gaza.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The IDF will continue to uphold the ceasefire agreement and will respond firmly to any violation of it,” it added. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The IDF soldier <a href="https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/israel-at-war/artc-idf-announces-soldier-killed-in-sniper-attack-in-rafah-2">killed</a> on Tuesday by <a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-871996">reported</a> Hamas sniper fire was identified as Master Sergeant Yona Efraim Feldbaum, father of five children. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Commenting on the strikes during his Asia trip, President Donald Trump said that Israel had “a right” to retaliate because “they took out an Israeli soldier.” He added that “nothing’s going to jeopardize” the ceasefire and said that Hamas needed to “behave.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“They said they would be good, and if they’re good they’re going to be happy,” Trump said. “And if they’re not good, they’re going to be terminated.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vice President JD Vance tamped down concerns about renewed warfare in Gaza on Tuesday after an attack on Israel Defense Forces in the Israeli-controlled territory of the enclave.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The IDF reported that Hamas had launched an attack on Israeli forces behind the so-called “yellow line,” or the line behind which Israel agreed to station its troops as part of a ceasefire with Hamas earlier this month. The attack, which was a breach of the ceasefire agreement, reportedly </span><a href="https://x.com/AmitSegal/status/1983287827199865230"><span style="font-weight: 400;">killed</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> one Israeli soldier.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vance said during a visit to Capitol Hill on Tuesday that the ceasefire will hold despite the violent flare up.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced airstrikes on Gaza shortly after the attack in retaliation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Following security consultations, Prime Minister Netanyahu has directed the military to immediately carry out forceful strikes in the Gaza Strip,” an </span><a href="https://www.gov.il/en/pages/spoke-pm281025"><span style="font-weight: 400;">announcement</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> from the prime minister’s office read.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hospitals in Gaza reported that at least 20 people were killed in the Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The violence came after an earlier ceasefire violation from Hamas in which the terror group buried the remains of an Israeli hostage before calling the Red Cross to come and “discover” the body. Israel released drone </span><a href="https://x.com/AmitSegal/status/1983154969026146642"><span style="font-weight: 400;">footage</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> capturing Hamas terrorists hiding the hostage remains. The footage appears to show members of the Red Cross standing by as dirt is dumped over a white sheet.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The IDF said in a statement that the terror group is “is attempting to create a false impression of efforts to locate the bodies,” according to </span><a href="https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/28/middleeast/israel-military-strikes-gaza-latam-intl"><span style="font-weight: 400;">CNN</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Red Cross also denounced the act in a statement: “It is unacceptable that a fake recovery was staged, when so much depends on this agreement being upheld and when so many families are still anxiously awaiting news of their loved ones.”</span></p>

The military action would mark the first Israeli strikes in Gaza since Israel and Hamas agreed to the hostage deal and ceasefire brokered by President Donald Trump on October 9. Hamas has so far failed to hold up its side of the agreement and hand over all of the remaining deceased hostages, while violence in the Gaza Strip has continued.</p>
<p>Israel is also moving the Yellow Line, which was agreed upon under the ceasefire deal, to expand the area of Israel&#8217;s control in the Gaza Strip, <a href="https://x.com/AmitSegal/status/1983213924615872745">according</a> to Israeli journalist Amit Segal.</p>
<p>Netanyahu made the decision after a militant group fired upon IDF troops stationed in Rafah earlier on Tuesday, The Times of Israel <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/terror-operatives-fire-at-idf-troops-in-rafah-in-another-apparent-truce-violation/">reported</a>. It&#8217;s unclear if the attackers were tied to Hamas or another terrorist group in Gaza.</p>
<p>Tuesday&#8217;s reported attack came after two Israel Defense Forces soldiers were killed in the Rafah area last week, with the Israeli military blaming Hamas. Hamas denied that it was responsible for last week&#8217;s attack. In response to the previous attack, the Israeli military conducted strikes taking out &#8220;six kilometers of underground terrorist infrastructure,&#8221; according to the IDF, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/world/hamas-violates-gaza-ceasefire-attacking-israeli-soldiers-official-says">reported</a>.</p>

<p>Earlier on Tuesday, the IDF accused Hamas of lying about recovering hostages&#8217; remains and released a video showing men re-burying human remains in a different area to &#8220;stage a false &#8216;discovery&#8217; for photographers.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Despite claiming difficulty locating the bodies of deceased hostages, Hamas continues to hold and manipulate the remains it refuses to release under the agreement,&#8221; the IDF <a href="https://x.com/IDF/status/1983179859951034576">stated</a>.</p>
<p>The Israeli military <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog-october-28-2025/">said</a> that the video “clearly shows that the Hamas terror organization is attempting to create a false impression of efforts to locate the bodies, while in fact holding deceased hostages whose remains it refuses to release as required by the agreement.”</p>
<p>In response to Netanyahu&#8217;s order, Hamas said it would scrap plans to hand over the body of another hostage on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Late last week, President Donald Trump said that Hamas would &#8220;have a very big problem&#8221; if the ceasefire didn&#8217;t hold. Trump had previously warned the terror group to end the violence in the Gaza Strip.</p>
<p>“If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump wrote on October 16 after Hamas publicly executed Gazans. Trump later added that U.S. forces would not be used to take out the terrorists.</p>
<p>After the ceasefire went into effect, the Trump administration sent top officials to Israel, where it established a command center to monitor the agreement.</p>
