The Smiths front man, Morrissey, is known for having no small opinions, and in an interview published on his own website on Tuesday, the singer tore into the U.K.’s politicians — on both the left and the right — over their support for a Muslim food festival that he claims is cruel and unusual.
Morrissey claims that Halal meat production, which processes animals in accordance with Muslim law, is “evil,” and that Halal accreditation “can only be given by supporters of Isis.”
