Meghan Markle, not content just to give her husband, Great Britain’s Prince Harry, advice on woke politics, has now expanded the list of recipients of her wisdom to all men, lecturing them about their responsibility for supporting abortion.

Markel was queried by journalist Jessica Yellin in a joint interview with feminist icon Gloria Steinem, whom Vogue referred to as “the face of American feminism.”

“Men need to be vocal in this moment and beyond,” Markel pontificated when Yellin spouted, “There is never an abortion without sperm. What would you say to men who support reproductive rights?”

“These are decisions that affect relationships, families, and communities at large,” Markle said sagely. “They may target women, but the consequences impact all of us.”

“My husband and I talked about that a lot over the past few days. He’s a feminist too,” she boasted, adding, “His reaction last week was guttural, like mine.”

“Steinem and Meghan have been formulating a plan to get the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) ratified,” Vogue noted.

What does this tell women? It tells us that our physical safety doesn’t matter, and as a result that we don’t matter,” Markle claimed regarding the SCOTUS decision overturning Roe v. Wade. “But we do. Women matter. And this is one of the reasons that I called Gloria immediately. Because in all of it, she reminds me that when you have anger, you have to channel that energy into something that makes a difference.”

Yellin brought up Justice Clarence Thomas’ concurrence, in which he went farther than the other conservative justices, calling for the concept of substantive due process to be thrown out and reconsidering “all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including GriswoldLawrence, and Obergefell.” Griswold v. Connecticut enshrined the “right to privacy,” Lawrence v. Texas ruled that people had the right to “seek autonomy” in their private relationships, and Obergefell v. Hodges enshrined the right to same-sex marriage.

“Meghan, how concerned are you not just for women, but for other groups who fought to gain rights in the U.S.? Do you think this is a canary-in-the-coal-mine moment?” Yellin pressed.

Absolutely,” Markel agreed. “We saw it in plain terms with Justice Thomas’s concurring opinion. This is a blueprint for reversing rights. The ruling is a signal about the future of same-sex marriage, contraception access, and many fundamental rights to privacy. It feels like the tip of the iceberg and is part of why people feel so scared. We have to channel that fear into action. We can start this November in the midterms. I know hearing that feels so repetitive, but we have to vote, every time, from local elections to state and national elections.”
