Rep. Maxine Waters is not known as a well-balanced person. But Waters, a career politician once named one of the most corrupt in Congress, has gone off the deep end with President Trump in the White House.
The California Democrat appeared on BET on Wednesday, the day after Trump’s State of the Union address, and called for a parental advisory whenever the president appears on television.
“Whenever he appears on TV there should be a disclaimer that says ‘This may be may not be acceptable for children,’” she said.
“One speech cannot and does not make Donald Trump presidential. He’s not presidential and he never will be presidential. He claims that’s bringing people together but make no mistake, he is a dangerous, unprincipled, divisive, and shameful racist,” Waters said.
Huh. That description actually matches Waters perfectly, one of the worst race baiters in Congress.
Waters continued, playing an entire deck of race cards.
“After Trump defended white supremacists, targeted Muslims with his travel ban, described Mexicans as rapists, and mocked people with disabilities, it’s impossible to believe him when he tries to declare he wants to bring the country together.”
She went on, saying Trump has a deep “hatred for women and people of color.” We have to admit we kinda’ stopped listening at that point.
But it didn’t take long for Waters to say something even stupider.
Waters appeared at an urban housing event and claimed that Russia is out to get her.
“RT, which is Russian television, absolutely interfered with a speech of mine on the floor of Congress and blocked me out for 10 minutes,” she yelled.
“They don’t play. They mean business,” Waters said.
Waters was citing an incident last January when C-SPAN briefly showed RT on its internet feed. The public access network said the problem was created by an “internal routing error.”
