“The Great One” has some advice for all Americans: Stop reading The New York Times.
Radio host Mark Levin called the contents of the paper, whose motto is “all the news that’s fit to print,” worse than fake news.
On his Fox News show “Life, Liberty & Levin,” he blasted the paper’s coverage of the Holocaust. Reading from his new book, “Unfreedom of the Press,” Levin claimed the paper “almost always” put stories about the Holocaust on the back pages.
“Surely the New York Times, with its wide reach, resources, access to foreign sources of information, reputation as the foremost newspaper in the country, large Jewish readership and its Jewish ownership would do everything possible to investigate and disclose the horror of Jewish genocide,” Levin said. “But the opposite was true.”
“The mass media treated the systematic murder of millions of Jews as though it were minor,” Levin said.
The radio host also said the paper is now pushing a “radical agenda” that makes it “an extremely destructive force in this country and outside this country.”
“It’s worse than fake news. It tried to take down an elected president, Donald Trump. It tried to push him out of office, supported both impeachments, supported criminal investigation, still supports these various prosecutors who are investigating the former president. And on and on and on,” Levin said.
Levin made headlines last week when he blasted the leak of a Supreme Court draft on overturning the abortion landmark decision Roe v. Wade, which was published by Politico. The opinion, written by Justice Samuel Alito, said, “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences.”
“There is no federal constitutional right to abortion, period!” Levin said, according to Mediaite. “They amended the Constitution without amending the Constitution!”
“Is that a baby in the womb?!” he asked. “Is that a viable baby in the womb at the very last minute? Yes! It’s not a salami sandwich! It’s a viable baby in the womb! And we have states and governors that say you can abort that baby even though it’s viable. It’s not a choice! It’s a human being! So to the Democrat Party – ‘Women aren’t women, babies aren’t babies.’ This is insanity!”
