She may be starting at Harvard in just a few weeks, but that doesn’t mean Malia Obama always makes the smartest choices.
Malia went with a bunch of friends on Friday to catch the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago. And when the band The Killers performed, Malia went bonkers, flinging herself to the ground and pounding the earth with her fists.
TMZ posted a video showing the former first daughter and a girlfriend gyrating to the tunes.
Malia Obama was feeling the music so much she couldn’t contain herself … so she writhed around on the ground in rock ‘n’ roll euphoria.
Barack’s oldest daughter let her hair down in Chicago Friday night at Lollapalooza … but especially while The Killers were playing. We’re told she was with her friends backstage for most of the set, but came out to the general area to dance later.
And dance she did … and headbang … and roll around in the grass.
This isn’t Malia’s first time at the music fest — she had great seats last year during Mac Miller’s set — and she always seems to have a good time in her former hometown.
Maybe just a little more this year.
Of course, she’s still a teenager, and Twitterers backed the crazy display.
But one offered a different scenario.
The Daily Mail noted Malia’s past use of marijuana at a previous music festival.
Another video allegedly showed Obama’s eldest puffing on a suspicious cigarette during the festival.
The brief clip, published by Radar, shows the teenager mingling with crowds as she takes a drag.
An eyewitness insisted she was smoking marijuana, the tabloid site reported.
