Linda Sarsour Blames Democratic Party’s ‘Downfall’ On Support For Israel

   DailyWire.com

Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour proved once again that she’s no friend to the Jewish people, telling Democracy Now media that the Democratic Party’s “downfall” is due to their support for the state of Israel.

Sarsour was one of several panelists anchoring the far-left Democracy Now’s election night coverage Tuesday, and, forced to explain why the Democrats weren’t picking up more seats, and why the much-anticipated “Blue Wave” had fizzled, Sarsour settled on the fact that the Democratic party refuses to condemn the Jewish people for their crimes, even though it actively supports “refugees” and other “criminal justice” initiatives.

Obviously Sarsour is implying that the Jewish people and the Jewish state of Israel engage in criminal behavior.

Just days ago, of course, Sarsour headlined the Women’s March’s vigil for victims of a horrific synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh — arguably the worst anti-Semitic attack in American history — addressing a crowd in Washington, D.C., and telling them to fight “hatred.”

The Women’s March proudly tweeted photos of Sarsour and other March leaders, holding signs and demonstrating against “white supremacy,” which the March claimed was responsible for the Pittsburgh shooting (they refused to call the shooter’s motive “anti-Semitism” outright, even though the shooter shouted that he was there to “kill Jews,” as he opened fire).

The problem for the Women’s March is that Sarsour herself routinely makes anti-Semitic comments, which she couches as “anti-Zionism,” though they are clearly directed only at the Jewish people and the Jewish state of Israel. Last year, while serving on a panel about anti-Semitism, Sarsour outed herself as an open supporter of the viciously anti-Semitic BDS movement and called Israel’s dealings with Palestinians an “occupation.”

She and other Women’s March leaders have refused to distance themselves from or condemn virulent anti-Semite preacher Louis Farrakhan. Sarsour and Women’s March chairs Tamika Mallory and Carmen Perez have, instead, defended Farrakan, attended his speeches, and posed for photos with them. Farrakhan, of course, recently called Jews “termites” on Twitter, and chanted “death to Jews” with members of the Iranian government while on a visit to Iran.

Although the Women’s March has brushed off claims of Sarsour’s anti-Semitism, it’s now reached mainstream. Actress and activist Alyssa Milano announced yesterday that she will not take part in this year’s March in Washington because of Sarsour’s connections and rhetoric.
