On Thursday afternoon, State Farm Insurance Company became the second company to pull its advertising from “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” after the host called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c***” on the show Wednesday night.
State Farm followed Autotrader, which pulled its advertising Thursday morning, tweeting:
State Farm released a statement to The Wrap, saying, “We have asked TBS to suspend our advertising in the program and are reviewing any future placements. We constantly review programs to ensure alignment to our programming guidelines and brand values.”
State Farm, based in Bloomington, Illinois, is the largest auto insurer in the U.S. Last year it debuted its Neighborhood of Good platform, which was designed to connect consumers to charitable opportunities in their towns.
