<p>White House Press Secretary <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/karine-jean-pierre" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Karine Jean-Pierre</a> became irritated on Wednesday during a press briefing when a reporter pressed her on whether President Joe Biden lied to the public about his son&#8217;s foreign business dealings.</p>
<p>The question came after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced on Tuesday that Republicans would move forward with launching an impeachment inquiry into the president over evidence that they say shows a culture of corruption surrounding the Biden family.</p>
<p>&#8220;How confident are you that there will be no evidence that incriminates President Biden in Hunter’s business dealings as this goes forward?&#8221; a reporter asked.</p>
<p>House Republicans &#8220;have spent all year investigating the president,&#8221; Jean-Pierre responded. &#8220;That’s what they’ve spent all year doing, and have turned up with no evidence — none — he — that he did anything wrong. I mean, that is what we’ve heard over and over again from their almost year-long investigation. And that’s because the president didn’t do anything wrong&#8211;&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Is lying to the public wrong?&#8221; a different reporter asked.</p>
<p>After continuing to answer the original question, Jean-Pierre snapped at the reporter who asked about lying: &#8220;To my friend in the back who just yelled out, which is incredibly inappropriate.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Do you dispute that he lied?&#8221; the reporter again pressed.</p>
<p>Jean-Pierre did not answer the question and claimed that Republicans &#8220;actually debunked their ridiculous attacks.&#8221;</p>

<p>At the end of the press conference, a reporter asked Jean-Pierre: &#8220;Can you explain why the president interacted with so many of his son&#8217;s foreign business associates? More than half of voters told CNN they believe the president was involved and he lied. You can&#8217;t have a response to that, Karine?&#8221;</p>
<p>Jean-Pierre walked out of the press conference and did not answer the question.</p>
